Horizontal and Vertical Control. The sub-consultant shall conduct an initial site reconnaissance to identify necessary vertical and horizontal control needed for the survey. Prior to data collection efforts, survey control will be recovered and verified using either differential leveling or Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) Global Positioning System (GPS) techniques, whichever methodology is deemed most practical. Data Collection: The survey will extend from the east side of the emergency use path to edge of beach at the eastern toe of the dune. Sub-consultant will obtain cross sections every 50 feet along the alignment of the walking path atop the dune, capturing centerline, edge of path, and grade breaks along each cross section. Sub- consultant will identify edges of vegetation and trees 3” diameter or larger with common tree name and diameter. Survey data shall be collected from toe of slope to toe of slope utilizing angle-distance total- station, RTK GPS, and or conventional rod, chain and level methodologies as needed.
Horizontal and Vertical Control. Unless otherwise specified, benchmarks for Vertical Control and a baseline for Horizontal Control will be as indicated on the Drawings or furnished by Engineer. Contractor will use these controls to establish other lines and grades as indicated on the Drawings. All such Horizontal or Vertical Controls will be preserved by Contractor, and in case of destruction or removal by Contractor or Contractor’s employees, said controls may be replaced by PCCA at Contractor’s expense.
Horizontal and Vertical Control. The field survey and subsequent survey control and monumentation plan (survey control diagram) will establish, horizontally, the location of existing section corners, property corners, and the local control relative to the Colorado High Accuracy Reference Network (XXXX).
Horizontal and Vertical Control. AESI will set photo control targets that meet or exceed Caltrans Second Class Accuracy Standards for Basic Corridor Control. Horizontal locations will be based upon the CALVRS system, utilizing the Lancaster station to establish two (2) horizontal locations, one to be used as a base location for our Trimble R-10 base station and the other as a horizontal check. Each aerial target will be located with two (2) 180 epoch (3 minute) observations at different times of the day to verify accuracy. Vertical datum will be NAVD88, with observations made on a minimum of two (2) Los Angeles County benchmarks. In the event the benchmarks don’t measure within 0.10’ an additional benchmark will be observed to verify any discrepancy. All observations will be processed through the Trimble Business Center Software and provided in the format acceptable to Caltrans.
Horizontal and Vertical Control. Establish survey control using existing available reference control monuments and place site control points and benchmarks with reference ties for use during construction.
Horizontal and Vertical Control. The Engineer’s Surveyor shall recover, review and update existing horizontal and vertical control data, and establish new points as necessary. The surveyor shall prepare location sketches for offsite controls located on the main cross streets, and as directed by the State. The original datum should be maintained with the most suitable adjustment made in order to maintain consistency between the control values and the current planimetric products. • System Access Control Data processing systems used to provide the Cloud Service must be prevented from being used without authorization. Measures: • Multiple authorization levels are used when granting access to sensitive systems, including those storing and processing Personal Data. Authorizations are managed via defined processes according to the SAP Security Policy • All personnel access SAP’s systems with a unique identifier (user ID). • SAP has procedures in place so that requested authorization changes are implemented only in accordance with the SAP Security Policy (for example, no rights are granted without authorization). In case personnel leaves the company, their access rights are revoked. • SAP has established a password policy that prohibits the sharing of passwords, governs responses to password disclosure, and requires passwords to be changed on a regular basis and default passwords to be altered. Personalized user IDs are assigned for authentication. All passwords must fulfill defined minimum requirements and are stored in encrypted form. In the case of domain passwords, the system forces a password change every six months in compliance with the requirements for complex passwords. Each computer has a password-protected screensaver. • The company network is protected from the public network by firewalls. • SAP uses up–to-date antivirus software at access points to the company network (for e-mail accounts), as well as on all file servers and all workstations. • Security patch management is implemented to provide regular and periodic deployment of relevant security updates. Full remote access to SAP’s corporate network and critical infrastructure is protected by strong authentication.
