Student Signature Printed Date Parent Signature Printed Date Electrical Student Safety Contract All students are expected to adhere to the acceptable use policy for technology and safety used by the East Baton Rouge School system. However due to the nature of the courses and hands-on training taught at Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC), there are additional rules that will apply to CTEC students that must be understood, agreed and enforced. The rules in our classroom and labs include but are not limited to:
Horseplay i. Coercion or intimidation of another employee.
Horseplay. 10.1.1 No one is allowed to run, ride bicycles, or motorized vehicles, or engage in horseplay on slips or common walkways.
Horseplay. D. Inattentiveness to work, failing to start work at the designated time, quitting work before proper time or leaving the job during working hours without permission of the Employer.
Horseplay. Fighting. Reporting for work under the influence of and/ or consuming alcohol or illegal/ banned substances on Company property. Wilful damage of Employee property or Company Insubordination. Sleeping during working hours. Advocating trouble between Management, Employees and the Union. Repeat absenteeism. Failure to obey safety rules and practices. Gross negligence.
Horseplay. Running or wrestling in the lab or classroom areas is forbidden. Some of our experiments involve projectiles (stuff flying through the air). Never aim at another person, even if you know it wouldn't hurt them.

Horseplay. Running pushing or shoving in the pool area is prohibited. Diving into the pool from tabletops, chairs or any pool furniture is also prohibited. A violation of this may, but need not, result in one warning. Failure to cure said violation in a timely fashion, or a repeated violation, may result in a fine of $100. A fine may be assessed with or without a prior warning.

Horseplay when such activity contributes to the ineffectiveness or injury of the employee, the public, another employee or damage to property occurs: 1st 1 shift off, 2nd 3 shift days off, 3rd dismissal.
