Hospital Cash Benefit. The insurer will cover the benefit payable for each night an insured person receives in-patient treatment and only if an insured person is admitted for in-patient treatment before midnight, the treatment is received free of charge and would that have otherwise been eligible for benefit privately under this policy Cover under this benefit is limited to a maximum of 30 nights per period of cover The maximum benefits for such coverage should be mutually agreed between the policyholder and insurer and stipulated in the insurance contract
Hospital Cash Benefit. If You are Hospitalised on the advice of a Doctor as defined under the policy, because of Illness or Accidental Bodily Injury sustained or contracted during the Policy Period, then We will pay You: The Daily Allowance of Rs. 500/- per day, for each continuous and completed period of 24 hours of Hospitalization necessitated solely by reason of the said Accidental Bodily Injury or Sickness, subject to a maximum of 30 days during the Policy Period.

Hospital Cash Benefit. We will provide a Hospital Cash Benefit specified in the Policy Schedule or Certificate of Insurance for each continuous and completed period of 24 hours of Hospitalisation of the Insured Person during the Policy Period for treatment of an Illness or Injury provided that:
(i) This Benefit shall be payable for a maximum number of days specified in the Policy Schedule or Certificate of Insurance, per Hospitalization event in respect of an Insured Person;
(ii) A Deductible as specified in the Policy Schedule or Certificate of Insurance is applicable under the Benefit;

The Company agrees to pay the Insured Person or his / her nominee or legal representatives, as the case may be, Benefit by way of daily cash, as per the coverage defined under this Policy, not exceeding the Sum Insured as mentioned in the Schedule, for all claims during such Policy Period. subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, stipulations and definitions contained herein or endorsed or otherwise expressed hereon, if during the Policy Period, the Insured Person shall contract any disease or illness or suffer any injury and is required to undergo treatment by way of i) Hospitalisation in any Hospital / Nursing Home in India (hereinafter called “Hospital”) upon the advice of a duly qualified Medical Practitioner.

Specific Limitation: Hospital Cash Benefit is restricted to maximum 15 days for the accidental hospitalisations due to following conditions: Coma of Specified Severity Multiple Sclerosis with Persisting Symptoms Major Xxxxx Systemic Lupus Erythematous Brain Surgery Major Head Trauma Creutzfeldt-Jacob Disease ( CJD) Terminal Illness.
Hospital Cash Benefit. This Benefit shall be payable if Room and Board Benefit is payable provided that the Member is confined to a Hospital under the professional care of a Registered Medical Practitioner for at least three (3) consecutive days (one day shall mean 24 hours herein). This amount payable under this Benefit for any one day of Hospital Confinement shall be the Maximum Limit of the Hospital Cash Benefit. This Benefit shall be payable from the third (3rd) day of such Hospital Confinement up to the maximum number of days per Contract Year as shown in the Schedule of Benefits. This Benefit shall not be payable for the first two (2) days of Hospital Confinement.
