HOUSING DURING BREAK PERIODS. Student Housing will be closed for the break periods. Students may arrange for temporary housing during the break periods for an additional charge. Food Service is not available during this time. Students may leave their belongings in their rooms during the breaks at their own risk. Students living in UVWS must have prior approval to stay during the break. On Thanksgiving and Spring Break, the Residence Halls will close on the Friday prior to the scheduled break. At the end of the semester, students must leave 24 hours after their last final examination or by 8am on the Saturday after the last final exam, whichever occurs first. Initial

HOUSING DURING BREAK PERIODS. The University YMCA residence hall is closed during the period between semesters. Exceptions will be made for international or out of state residents. The House Director must be informed that you are staying. Other residents may use the facility with good cause (e.g. job or class related) with the permission of the House Director. Break periods are the same as established by the University of Illinois CARE OF ROOM, EQUIPMENT, INSPECTION Lessee has examined said premises and appurtenances and is satisfied with the condition. No promises to decorate, alter, repair, or improve have been made by lessor. The lessee shall be responsible for maintaining his room, lounge and kitchen area in a neat and orderly fashion at all times and to correct any abuse called to his attention by representatives of the lessor. At move out, lessee shall make an appointment with House Director or Director of Operations to inspect the room. The lessee shall be responsible for all damage to said premises during his term of occupancy, reasonable wear and tear excepted. Lessee understands that part or all of the security deposit may be used for repair of damage, cleaning, or for any unpaid charges and not returning the room key. Furniture-Furniture provided in rooms needs to remain in assigned rooms. Furniture brought into room over the lease year must be removed on move out. There will be a $25.00 fee for each piece of furniture that needs to be removed or be returned to a room. The lessee agrees to use the washer and dryer with care and agrees to use them only at specified times if such procedure becomes necessary. Clothing may not be left in the laundry room. Gambling, the use of alcoholic beverages by underage persons, narcotics, firearms, fireworks, and the housing of pets or laboratory specimens is prohibited on University YMCA property. Tobacco in any form is prohibited on the property. In no case shall electric heaters, hot plates, skillets, ovens, or toasters be allowed in student rooms. NO hot plates allowed in lounge. A microwave oven(max 700 xxxxx) and 2.5 cu ft refrigerator may be permitted in room with approval from University YMCA and if approved under University YMCA building and fire codes.   • Continuation of Optional Coverages During Unpaid Leave or Layoff An employee who takes an unpaid leave of absence or who is laid off may discontinue premium payments on optional policies during the period of leave or layoff. If the employee returns within one (1) year, the employee shall be permitted to pick up all optionals held prior to the leave or layoff. For purposes of reinstating such optional coverages, the following limitations shall be applicable. For the first twenty-four (24) months of long-term disability coverage after such a period of leave or layoff during which long-term disability coverage was discontinued, any such disability coverage shall exclude coverage for pre-existing conditions. For disability purposes, a pre-existing condition is defined as any disability which is caused by, or results from, any injury, sickness or pregnancy which occurred, was diagnosed, or for which medical care was received during the period of leave or layoff. In addition, any pre-existing condition limitations that would have been in effect under the policy but for the discontinuance of coverage shall continue to apply as provided in the policy. The limitations set forth above do not apply to leaves that qualify under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

  • Rejection During Probation (a) The Employer may reject any probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Clause 10.4. The test of just cause for rejection shall be a test of suitability of the probationary employee for continued employment in the position to which they have been appointed, provided that the factors involved in suitability could reasonably be expected to affect work performance.
