Integration of Services. Contractor shall integrate its services with the services of other EMS System participants including first responder agencies, public safety agencies, hospitals, other health professionals, and neighboring ambulance provider agencies. In addition to the other provisions set forth in this Agreement, Contractor shall be an active participant in the Regional EMS System.

Integration of Services. The needs of infants and toddlers and their families require the perspective of various disciplines; thus, services should be planned using a collaborative, multidisciplinary, interagency approach. Existing services and programs, both public and private, should be supported with appropriate linkages promoted. *Universal application: Families of infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays in all areas of the State should receive comprehensive, multidisciplinary assessments of their young children, ages birth through 36 months, and have access to all necessary early intervention services as defined on the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).

Indicators/Deliverables:  Work with the Commission to annually review the best strategy for providing evaluation services and to ensure that either contracts or an internal staffing plan is in place for full coverage of evaluation needs and responsibilities outlined in the guiding legislation. Develop an evaluation strategy that seamlessly links with the state commission evaluation strategy.  Develop criteria to evaluate the performance of each funded project. Integration of Services. Service integration was addressed in a research study looking at use of antenatal care (ANC) and postpartum modern contraceptive use in Kenya and Zambia. The analysis revealed a positive association between ANC use and the adoption of a modern FP method postpartum, while the association between FP use and postnatal care was not found to be significant. Although FP counseling is not often a component of standard ANC service packages, it is possible that the use of ANC services contributes to women’s trust in the health care system and overall satisfaction of health care services, which in turn may make women more likely to return for other services. The finding indicates that promoting ANC visits should be considered as a mechanism to increase postpartum FP use.
