INTEGRITY OF THE GAME. Player recognizes the detriment to the AFL that would result from impairment of public confidence in the honest and orderly conduct of AFL games, or the integrity and good character of AFL players. Player therefore agrees not to accept any bribe, throw or fix any AFL game, attempt to throw or fix any AFL game, or do anything else to cause or attempt to cause any AFL game to result other than on its merits. Player also agrees not to bet, legally or illegally, anything of value on the result or margin of victory of any AFL game. Player also agrees to promptly report to the Commissioner any offer or inducement or request to bribe an AFL player or to attempt to throw or fix an AFL game. Player also agrees not to knowingly associate with gamblers or gambling activity; not to use illegal drugs; and not to provide other players with stimulants or other drugs for the purpose of attempting to enhance on field performance in violation of law or any collective bargaining agreement in existence during the term of this contract. If the Commissioner has just cause to find any Player to have violated the terms of this paragraph, the Commissioner may impose appropriate penalties therefor, including, in appropriate circumstances, the suspension, dismissal and/or permanent disqualification of Player from any further association with the AFL. Football League Mission Statement and the Arena Football League Fans’ Xxxx of Rights, both attached hereto. These documents are attached hereto solely for the administrative convenience of the AFL, are not legally binding upon Player in any way, do not impose any contractual or other obligations upon Player, and have no legal effect.
INTEGRITY OF THE GAME. Player recognizes the detriment to the Arena Football League and professional football that would result from impairment of public confidence in the honest and orderly conduct of AFL games or the integrity and good character of AFL players. Player therefore agrees NOT to accept a bribe or throw or fix any AFL game or attempt to do the same. Player also agrees not to bet, legally or illegally, anything of value on the result or margin of victory of any Arena Football game and Player agrees to not, legally or illegally, bet anything of value on the result or margin of victory of any professional or college football game. Player also agrees to promptly report to the AFL Director of Football Operations, a bribe offer or an attempt to throw or fix an AFL game. Player also agrees not to knowingly associate with gamblers or gambling activity; not to use illegal drugs; not to provide other players with stimulants or other drugs for the purpose of attempting to enhance on field performance; or to be found guilty of any other form of conduct reasonably judged by the AFL Director of Football Operations to be detrimental to the AFL or professional football. If the AFL Director of Football Operations, in his sole discretion, finds any player responsible for any of the above violations, the Director of Football Operations may suspend, dismiss and/or permanently disqualify the player from any further association with the AFL. The AFL Director of Football Operation's findings and decisions with regard to this matter are final, binding and unappealable.
INTEGRITY OF THE GAME. I hereby recognize the serious detrimental effect to the Event, Sponsor, and Tournament Operator that would result from any impairment of public confidence in the honest and orderly conduct of the Event. I therefore understand and agree that Tournament Operator shall have the right to exercise or implement, immediately and without notice, any or all of the remedies set forth in this Agreement, or at law, in equity or under any other agreement if I, at any time: (a) accept a bribe or agree to or attempt to throw or fix any Event game or other Esports competition; (b) fail to promptly report a bribe offer or an attempt to throw or fix any Event game or other Esports competition; (c) bet, wager or xxxxxx on any Event game or other Esports competition; (d) knowingly associate with Esports gamblers or gambling activity (in any manner that could jeopardize the integrity of the Event or other Tournament Operator events, competitions, tournaments, and exhibitions); (e) use or directly or indirectly provide other Event participants with, or facilitate their use of, illegal stimulants or other drugs for the purpose of attempting to enhance reaction time or in-game performance, including practice, recovery, and training time; or (f) participate in or am guilty of any other form of conduct determined by Tournament Operator, in Tournament Operator 's sole reasonable discretion, to be detrimental to the Event, or Tournament Operator events, competitions, tournaments, and exhibitions) or to Tournament Operator’s current and future business (including, without limitation, any products or services related thereto).

Player also agrees not to knowingly associate with gamblers or gambling activity; not to use illegal (non-prescription) drugs; not to provide other players with stimulants or other drugs for the purpose of attempting to enhance on-field performance or to be found guilty of any other form of conduct reasonably judged by the AFL Commissioner to be detrimental to the best interests of the AFL or Professional football. If the AFL Commissioner, in his own discretion, finds that the Player has been responsible for any of the above violations, the Commissioner may suspend, dismiss and/or permanently disqualify the Player from any further association with the AFL. The Commissioner's findings and decisions with regard to this matter are final, binding and unappealable.

INTEGRITY OF THE GAME. The Player recognizes the detriment to the League and professional football resulting from the impairment of public confidence in the honest and orderly conduct of Arena Football League games or the integrity and good character of Arena Football League players. The Player therefore agrees not to accept a bribe or throw, fix, or willfully affect or attempt to affect the outcome, except as a Player competing to the best of his ability, of any Arena Football League game. The Player agrees not to bet, legally or illegally, anything of value on the result or margin of victory of any amateur or professional football game (including, but not limited to, League games). The Player agrees to promptly report to the Arena Football League any bribe offer or attempt to throw, fix or affect the outcome of any Arena Football League game made by an interested third party. The Player also agrees not to knowingly associate with gamblers or gambling activity; not to use illegal drugs; not to provide other players with stimulants or other performance enhancing drugs; not to engage in any other form of conduct reasonably judged by the Arena Football League to be detrimental to the League or professional football. If the League finds the Player responsible for any of the above listed violations, the League may suspend, dismiss and/or permanently disqualify the Player from any further association with the League subject to the grievance and arbitration provisions of the CBA.

  • Information Technology The following applies to all contracts for information technology commodities and contractual services. “Information technology” is defined in section 287.012(15), F.S., to have the same meaning as provided in section 282.0041, F.S.

  • Security Systems The Service may not be compatible with security systems. You may be required to maintain a telephone connection through your local exchange carrier in order to use any alarm monitoring functions for any security system installed in your home or business. You are responsible for contacting the alarm monitoring company to test the compatibility of any alarm monitoring or security system with the Service.

  • Accessibility of Information Technology Contractor represents and warrants that any software/ hardware/ communications system/ equipment (collectively “technology”), if any, provided under this Agreement adheres to the standards and/or specifications as may be set forth in the Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 standards guide and is fully compliant with WCAG 2.0 AA standards for accessibility and compliant with any applicable FCC regulations. Technology that will be used on a mobile device must also be navigable with Voiceover on iOS devices in addition to meeting WCAG 2.0 level AA. If portions of the technology or user experience are alleged to be non-compliant or non- accessible at any point, District will provide Contractor with notice of such allegation and Contractor shall use its best efforts to make the technology compliant and accessible. If a state or federal department, office or regulatory agency, or if any other third party administrative agency or organization (“Claimants”), make a claim, allegation, initiates legal or regulatory process, or if a court finds or otherwise determines that technology is non-compliant or non-accessible, Contractor shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the District from and against any and all such claims, allegations, liabilities, damages, penalties, fees, costs (including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees), arising out of or related to Xxxxxxxxx’ claims. Contractor shall also fully indemnify District for the full cost of any user accommodation that is found to be necessary due to an identifiable lack of accessibility in the Contractor’s technology. If necessary, an independent 3rd party accessibility firm using POUR standards (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and Robust) may be used to validate the accessibility of the technology.

  • Historic Preservation Subrecipient agrees to comply with the Historic Preservation requirements set forth in the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended (16 U.S.C. 470) and the procedures set forth in 36 CFR 800, Protection of Historic Properties, insofar as they apply to the performance of this Contract. In general, this requires concurrence from the State Historic Preservation Officer for all rehabilitation and demolition of historic properties that are fifty years old or older or that are included on a Federal, State, or local historic property list.

  • Information Technology Enterprise Architecture Requirements If this Contract involves information technology-related products or services, the Contractor agrees that all such products or services are compatible with any of the technology standards found at xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/iot/2394.htm that are applicable, including the assistive technology standard. The State may terminate this Contract for default if the terms of this paragraph are breached.

  • Games The Private Party shall not be entitled to introduce any arcade type amusement or gaming machines into the Restaurant Facility without the prior written approval of SANParks.

  • Cameras NSP items may only be acquired through the Contractor(s) or their Authorized Dealer(s) and must be reported quarterly with all other sales under the resulting Master Agreement(s). NSP items must be priced at a minimum discount of 15% from MSRP or List Price. NSP items shall not be offered to a Purchasing Entity as a stand-alone option, and the maximum allowable amount of all NSP items in a single Order shall be determined by the Participating State or Entity.

  • Security System The site and the Work area may be protected by limited access security systems. An initial access code number will be issued to the Contractor by the County. Thereafter, all costs for changing the access code due to changes in personnel or required substitution of contracts shall be paid by the Contractor and may be deducted from payments due or to become due to the Contractor. Furthermore, any alarms originating from the Contractor’s operations shall also be paid by the Contractor and may be deducted from payments due or to become due to the Contractor.

  • TECHNOLOGICAL CHANGES 29.01 Any significant technological changes affecting members or their work environment will be discussed between Management and the Association prior to implementation with a view to resolving any problems. Whenever practical, the Board, through the Administration of the Service, will commence such discussions at least three (3) months in advance of the planned change.

  • Preservation of Business The Seller will keep its business and properties substantially intact, including its present operations, physical facilities, working conditions, and relationships with lessors, licensors, suppliers, customers, and employees.
