Intermittent Motor Driving Duties Allowance. 23.1. A trainee or junior employee at the APS Level 1 who undertakes intermittent driving duties, involving acceptance of full responsibility for the operation of a vehicle, shall be paid an allowance to raise their salary to 80 percent of that of an APS Level 1 (Adult first salary point), calculated on a daily basis, for each day or part of a day on which they are so employed.

Intermittent Motor Driving Duties Allowance. Employees who are required to undertake intermittent driving duties as part of their employment, involving the acceptance of full responsibility for the operation of a vehicle, shall be paid an allowance, calculated on a daily basis, for each day or part of a day on which they are so employed, as follows: Type of Vehicle Allowance to raise salary to percentage of 1 salary Passenger or commercial vehicle with carrying capacity under six tonnes Under 19 At 19 70% 80% The method in place for adjusting allowances and rental contributions prior to this Agreement will continue to apply throughout the life of this Agreement and adjustments will be processed accordingly. Allowances include meal allowance, travelling allowance, temporary accommodation allowance, etc. CLA and first aid allowance will be varied by the same percentage applying to salary increases indicated in this Agreement. Adjustments will be effective from the same dates as the salary increases. Employees are entitled to an overtime meal allowance of $16.85 in addition to any payment of overtime where: • they are required to work overtime after the end of ordinary duty for the day, to the completion of or beyond a meal allowance period, without a break for a meal; • they are required perform duty after a break for a meal after the completion of their ordinary hours and they are not paid for that break; • they are required to perform overtime prior to the commencement of their ordinary hours of duty for that day and they take a meal break which is not a paid meal break. • they are required to perform duty on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, in addition to their ordinary weekly hours of duty, extending beyond a meal break and are not entitled to payment for that meal break. A meal allowance period means the following periods: • 5.00 am to 9.00 am • 12 noon to 2.00 pm • 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm • midnight to 1.00 am Overtime meal allowance will not be payable if an employee is also receiving travel allowance for an overnight stay. For the purpose of Relocation Assistance: "Dependant" means: • a partner of the employee; or • a child or parent of the employee, or of the partner of the employee, being a child or parent who ordinarily resides with the employee and who is wholly or substantially dependent on the employee; or • any other person who is, because of special circumstances, approved by the EO as a dependant of the employee.

  • Higher Duties Allowance (a) An employee who is appointed to perform temporarily all of the duties of a higher classified position and who performs all such duties required to be performed during the appointment will be paid an allowance equal to the difference between their substantive salary and the minimum salary of the higher classified position for all the time during which the employee performs such duties. Where it is specified at the commencement of the higher duties allowance that the employee is to undertake part of the duties of the higher position only, a lesser amount, which will normally be a percentage of the full amount, will be paid. (b) No allowance will be payable pursuant to subclause 12.1(a) unless the employee performs the duties of the higher classified position for a period in excess of one (1) week or in excess of two (2) consecutive working days for trades staff. (c) No allowance will be payable pursuant to subclause 12.1(a) to an employee whose position is designated as a “deputy” or equivalent of a more senior employee, whose normal duties as specified by their job description include deputising for that more senior employee and who is deputising while the senior employee is absent on duty or for periods of leave for up to four (4) weeks. (d) An employee who has been in receipt of a higher duties allowance for more than one (1) month will be paid such allowance for all paid leave taken during that period. (e) An employee who has been relieving continuously in a position for a period in excess of 12 months who retires, resigns or is retrenched by the University will receive payment for accrued leave entitlements at the higher rate of pay on termination of employment. (f) Where an employee in receipt of a higher duties allowance works on a public holiday, the relevant shift loading or overtime rate will be applied to the higher duties allowance for time worked on that day.

  • DEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 16, 18 and 19, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment shall be taxable only in that State unless the employment is exercised in the other Contracting State. If the employment is so exercised, such remuneration as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State. 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 1, remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment exercised in the other Contracting State shall be taxable only in the first-mentioned State if: a) the recipient is present in the other State for a period or periods not exceeding in the aggregate 183 days in any twelve-month period commencing or ending in the tax year concerned, and b) the remuneration is paid by, or on behalf of, an employer who is not a resident of the other State, and c) the remuneration is not borne by a permanent establishment or a fixed base which the employer has in the other State. 3. Notwithstanding the preceding provisions of this Article, remuneration derived in respect of an employment exercised aboard a ship or aircraft operated in international traffic by a resident of a Contracting State, may be taxed in that State.

  • SCOPE OF SERVICES/CASE HANDLING A. Upon execution by GPM, attorneys are retained to provide legal services for the purpose of seeking damages and other relief in the Litigation. Client provides authorization to seek appointment as Lead Plaintiff in the class action, while the Attorneys will seek to be appointed Class Counsel. If this occurs, the Litigation will be prosecuted as a class action. B. If you obtain access to non-public information during the pendency of the Litigation, you must not engage in transactions in securities. C. Attorneys are authorized to prosecute the Litigation. The appointed Lead Plaintiffs will monitor, review and participate with counsel in the prosecution of the Litigation. The Attorneys shall consult with the appointed Lead Plaintiffs concerning all major substantive matters related to the Litigation, including, but not limited to, the complaint, dispositive motions and settlement. Because of potential differences of opinion between Clients concerning, among other things, strategy, goals and objectives of the Litigation, the Attorneys shall consult with the appointed Lead Plaintiffs as to the courses of action to pursue. The Client agrees to abide by the decisions of the appointed Lead Plaintiffs, which shall be final and binding on all Clients. D. GPM is given the authority to opt the Client out of any class action proceeding relating to the claims authorized herein and/or pursue the Client claim individually in a group action, if the Client is not appointed Lead Plaintiff and GPM is not appointed Class Counsel. E. The Attorneys shall provide sufficient resources, including attorney time and capital for payment of costs and expenses, to vigorously prosecute the Litigation. F. Any recovery from defendants that the Attorneys are responsible for will be divided among class members based on the recognized loss by each class member as calculated by a damage allocation plan which will be prepared by a financial expert or consultant, provided to the appointed Lead Plaintiffs, be subject to the Court's approval and will account for such factors as size of securities ownership, date of purchase, date of sale and continued holdings, if any. Under the rules governing class action litigation, while the Lead Plaintiffs recover according to the same formula as other class members, the Court may approve, upon application therefore, reimbursement of the Lead Plaintiffs’ reasonable costs and expenses directly related to the representation of the class. Examples are lost wages and travel expenses associated with testifying in the action.

  • Scope of Services The specific scope of work for each job shall be determined in advance and in writing between TIPS Member, Member’s design professionals and Vendor. It is permitted for the TIPS Member to provide a general scope description, but the awarded vendor should provide a written scope of work, and if applicable, according to the TIPS Member’s design Professional as part of the proposal. Once the scope of the job is agreed to, the TIPS Member will issue a PO and/or an Agreement or Contract with the Job Order Contract Proposal referenced or as an attachment along with bond and any other special provisions agreed by the TIPS Member. If special terms and conditions other than those covered within this solicitation and awarded Agreements are required, they will be attached to the PO and/or an Agreement or Contract and shall take precedence over those in this base TIPS Vendor Agreement.

  • Patient Care Resident shall participate in safe, effective, and compassionate patient care, under supervision, commensurate with Resident's level of advancement and responsibility.

  • Payments for Distribution Assistance and Administrative Support Services (a) Payments to the Distributor. In consideration of the payments made by the Fund to the Distributor under this Plan, the Distributor shall provide administrative support services and distribution services to the Fund. Such services include distribution assistance and administrative support services rendered in connection with Shares (1) sold in purchase transactions, (2) issued in exchange for shares of another investment company for which the Distributor serves as distributor or sub-distributor, or (3) issued pursuant to a plan of reorganization to which the Fund is a party. If the Board believes that the Distributor may not be rendering appropriate distribution assistance or administrative support services in connection with the sale of Shares, then the Distributor, at the request of the Board, shall provide the Board with a written report or other information to verify that the Distributor is providing appropriate services in this regard. For such services, the Fund will make the following payments to the Distributor:
