Common use of Involuntary Transfer - Administratively Initiated Clause in Contracts

Involuntary Transfer - Administratively Initiated. The District retains the right to utilize employees in the bargaining unit at those job sites where their abilities within classification are most needed on the basis of personal qualifications and District need as determined by the Superintendent or his/her designee. An employee shall be given ten (10) working days’ notice, when possible, prior to being permanently transferred from one job site to another. Involuntary transfers shall not be punitive unless as proven disciplinary action for cause.
