IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS. Contracting authority The Contracting Authority is the Minister for Justice and Equality hereafter called ‘the Minister. The EU Funds Unit of the Department of Justice and Equality hereafter called ‘the Department’ will manage the contract on behalf of the Minister. The Minister is empowered to make a financial contribution which is to be subject to: - available Exchequer funding; the rules and regulations of Exchequer funding and the Asylum Migration and Integration Fund (“AMIF”); it being co-funded by matching funding from the Grantee or its partner(s). the Grantee being recognised in law. The Grantee has applied to the Department for financial assistance under the AMIF. The fund is provided for the purpose of supporting reception and integration activities. The Department has agreed to provide financial assistance to the Grantee as more particularly set out in this Agreement in order to assist it to implement the agreed Project Plan as described in Appendix A to this Agreement (“the Project Plan”) subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. The Grantee has agreed to comply with the terms and conditions hereinafter set out and acknowledges that the financial assistance shall not be used or administered for any other work not specifically outlined in the agreed project plan. The Grantee has agreed that the grant will be used in accordance with the approved budget as set out in Appendix B (the “Project Budget”) to this agreement. Where the Grantee has an approved Project Partner(s) to carry out certain of the Project Activities as set out in the approved Project Plan any such arrangement shall not in any way reduce any of the obligations or liability of the Grantee under this grant agreement. For avoidance of doubt the Grantee shall be liable for the acts of its Project Partner(s) including any corrections resulting therefrom. The Grantee hereby confirms that the organisation: is not bankrupt or being wound up, is not having its affairs administered by the courts, has not entered into an arrangement with creditors or suspended business activities, and is not in any analogous situation arising from a similar procedure provided for in national legislation or regulations; has not been convicted of an offence concerning its professional conduct by a judgment which has the force of res judicata; has met its obligations relating to the payment of social security contributions or taxes under the legislation of the country in which it is established or ...
