Janitors. The regular hours of work for Janitors shall consist of five (5) consecutive identical shifts in a seven (7) day period generally between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. and 12:00 midnight. Where existing shifts differ from these hours, present shifts will remain in effect until the parties mutually agree to revert to "the regular hours of work for Janitors".
Janitors. The regular hours of work for full-time janitors shall be eight (8) hours per day plus one-half hour unpaid meal break and forty (40) hours per week. They shall work five (5) consecutive days and have two (2) days of rest.

Janitors. During the school year, part-time janitorial staff will work on an as-needed basis during breaks when students are not in session. For summer break, all janitors and maintenance will work on an adjusted daytime schedule.

In those job specifications that do not list housekeeping, employees in higher rated pay groups will flex into the Janitor job classification, but will not be assigned to clean locker rooms or rest rooms. Likewise, those job specifications that do list housekeeping will perform work of the janitor job classification, but will not be assigned to clean locker rooms or rest rooms.
