Career counseling can be offered in a variety of settings including groups and individually, in person or by means of digital communication. Job Exploration Counseling. (1) The Contractor shall provide Job Exploration Counseling activities which promote considerations of opportunities and informed decision-making regarding career options to help Students with disabilities understand post-school choices and opportunities.
Job Exploration Counseling. (1) At the conclusion of the Job Exploration Counseling each Student completing activities shall receive a Job Exploration Counseling Service Delivery Outcome Report, which clearly identifies Student Skill completion/ acquisition. This document shall be prepared by the contractor and a copy will be presented to the Student. A copy will also be included in the monthly billing report.
Job Exploration Counseling. Assist students with exploring career opportunities that fit their interests, skills and abilities and must include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Counseling including marriage or pre-marital counseling, religious, family, career, social adjustment, pastoral or financial counseling.

  • Professional Development Reimbursement Management will provide reimbursement for approved professional development expenses for Lieutenants and Sergeants. Funds may be used for the purpose of improving job performance, maintaining and increasing proficiency, preparing Lieutenants and Sergeants for greater responsibility, or increasing promotional opportunities. Management must approve of the specific professional development request in advance. Denial will require written notification to the requesting Lieutenant or Sergeant.
