The Career Pathway clause defines the structured progression of roles, responsibilities, and advancement opportunities available to individuals within an organization or program. It typically outlines the criteria for promotion, required skills or achievements for each stage, and the support or training provided to facilitate career growth. By establishing clear expectations and transparent advancement routes, this clause helps employees understand how they can develop professionally and what steps are necessary to achieve higher positions, thereby promoting motivation and retention.
Career Pathway. The Employer agrees to develop a programme for the phased implementation of ‘Teacher Career Ladders’ that would provide specialist teachers greater mobility through the Service, based on professional standards. Career Pathway. The goal of the Career Pathway shall be to develop a plan for the client that will guide them through the steps necessary to be employed in their chosen career field and/or completion of vocational studies leading to employment through coordination with the local RS- funded employment provider. Prior to referring clients for vocational training, the Provider shall assess whether the client has met the enrollment requirements for the program. In collaboration with the RS-funded employment provider the Provider shall ensure that youth receive pre- employment training related to employment practices in the U.S., work culture, job expectations, how to deposit a check, sexual harassment in the workplace, resume building, appropriate attire, overtime compensation laws, and/or mock interviews. Job placements must be aligned with the career goals outlined in the client’s youth development plan.

  • Career Development The City and the Union agree that employee career growth can be beneficial to both the City and the affected employee. As such, consistent with training needs identified by the City and the financial resources appropriated therefore by the City, the City shall provide educational and training opportunities for employee career growth.
