Job/ Vacancy Openings. A Job Opening and a Vacancy shall be defined as a need for a person to fill a position that consists of days off, hours of work, crew assignment and work center/branch All job openings will be posted on a posting board in each branch for five (5) working days. The posted Job Opening/Vacancy will consist of the Job Description contained in this CBA along with the work center, crew, shift and Regular Days Off for the position. Copies of all Job Opening/Vacancy will be given to the Chief Xxxxxxx. Employees who apply for a position and are not selected will be given feedback why he or she was not selected by the hiring manager within one week after selection. The Chief Xxxxxxx will be notified of the selection of an employee for a Job Opening/Vacancy and given a list of those who applied and were not selected for the opening within a week after selection. Any employee can apply for a Job Opening/Vacancyby completing an application form provided by the Company along with a current resume. Any employee promoted will serve a thirty (30) day probationary period during which time he or she may be removed from such a position for failure to meet performance requirements. An employee so removed will be returned to his or her previous position.

Halfway through the probationary period, the promoted employee will be given a written evaluation of his / her progress in their new position.

If at the end of the probationary period it is deemed that the employee cannot fulfill the position, an employee so removed will be returned to his or her previous position. An employee may not apply for a lower or lateral rated classification unless he/she has been in his/her current position for a period of one (1) year. This provision may be waived by mutual agreement between the Company and Union. Employees who are promoted or change positions through the bidding process must hold their new position for a minimum of one (1) year before they can bid for another position. This provision may be waived by mutual agreement between the Company and Union for an employee bidding for a different shift within the same classification and section, when there are no internal qualified candidates. All newly hired employees must hold their position for a minimum of one (1) year before they can bid for any open position. Any employee who successfully bids on a posted job must accept the position once written notice is given by the Company. Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each make any modifications to its facilities that are found to be necessary as a result of such testing. Developer shall bear the cost of all such testing and modifications. Developer shall generate test energy at the Large Generating Facility only if it has arranged for the injection of such test energy in accordance with NYISO procedures.

  • WORK CLOTHES The employer shall provide all necessary work clothes (coveralls, work shoes or equivalent, and insulated coveralls, winter coveralls and rain gear as needed), as well as safety equipment, including personal safety gear. Work clothes and safety gear provided by the company are the property of the company. When a new set of work clothes is provided, the worn set shall be handed in. Used safety equipment as mentioned above shall be properly cleaned before being reissued.
