Journey Accident Insurance. The Enterprise will insure all employees covered by this Agreement against the loss of ordinary wages arising from work absence up to a period of 12 months due to injuries or illness resulting from any accident incurred in journeys between the employee’s residence and the workplace, and return. • The Enterprise’s liability extends only to the reimbursement of the employee’s ordinary 38 hours rate and all such absences shall be supported by certification of a duly authorized medical practitioner.

Journey Accident Insurance. During the life of this Agreement, the City of Xxxxxxx Xxxxx agrees to provide 24 hour Journey Accident insurance for all employees covered by this Agreement. Such insurance will provide income maintenance for an employee involved in a journey accident and will be purchased through the provider identified in the Insurance Policy.
Journey Accident Insurance. The Company will provide insurance cover for employees whilst on the journey from their residence to their place of work and return. The insurance will provide for payment of wages to an employee who sustains an injury and loses time from work as a result.

In the interest of extending the benefits of additional protection, the Company shall insure all employees for loss of ordinary weekly earnings (exclusive of overtime earnings, shift premiums, attendance bonus, incentive earnings, fares and travelling time allowances, penalty rates and other ancillary payments payable by the Company) in the event of a journey accident whilst an employee is travelling to and from their normal place of residence to their place of work, excluding those injuries covered by the Victorian Transport Accident Act or a similar statute in any other state or territory.
