Jury Duty/Court Duty. Temporary duty with pay will be granted to an employee who is summoned to serve on a jury, subpoenaed to appear at a legal proceeding as a witness, if he is required by law to attend, or to make appearance in any court proceeding resulting from activities relating to the employee's employment with the school district. Such leave must be requested and approved in advance. In no case shall temporary duty with pay be granted for court attendance when an employee is engaged in his/her personal litigation.
