Common use of Jury Duty/Crown Witness Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty/Crown Witness. 21.01 In the event that an employee is called for jury duty, or crown witness, he will be compensated for the time thus spent on the following basis: The Company will pay the employee the difference between his normal hourly rate earnings and the Government pay awarded him for such duty. This compensation will be made for each day of such duty.
