Jury Pool Leave. Upon receipt of notification of the employees selection to the jury pool , and where daily call-ins are required, the employee must notify the personnel section in writing immediately upon notification. If scheduled work assignments conflict with the notification to serve on the jury pool, the employee must make a request to the clerk of the court to exempt the employee for scheduled days of work. If an employee’s request is denied, then the employee will be placed on court leave for the amount of hours sufficient to comply with the provisions of Rule 25. The employee must provide written documentation from the clerk of the court in order to receive court leave.

  • Jury Leave Upon written request, supported by a copy of the summons, an employee shall be granted leave paid at the rate of her full salary, less what the court pays for the performance of the required duties, to appear for or serve jury duty, provided that such appearance and/or service actually conflicts with her scheduled duties and provided that upon return to work she shall provide her supervisor with written confirmation of the date(s) and time(s) on which she appeared and/or served, signed by an appropriate official of the Court.

  • Civil Leave Section 1. The Employer recognizes the responsibility of its employees to fulfill their civic duties as jurors and witnesses in court proceedings. The Employer agrees therefore to grant civil leave with pay to permanent employees:

  • Unused Personal Leave In order to encourage drivers to not use Personal Leave in an effort to minimize the need for substitute drivers and improve the safety, security and welfare of our students, drivers will be reimbursed at their regular rate of pay for any unused Personal Leave. The payment will be included in the driver(’s) first pay in July.
