Jury Pool Leave. Upon receipt of notification of the employees selection to the jury pool , and where daily call-ins are required, the employee must notify the personnel section in writing immediately upon notification. If scheduled work assignments conflict with the notification to serve on the jury pool, the employee must make a request to the clerk of the court to exempt the employee for scheduled days of work. If an employee’s request is denied then the employee will be placed on court leave for the amount of hours sufficient to comply with the provisions of Rule 25. The employee must provide written documentation from the clerk of the court in order to receive court leave.
