JURY LEAVE definition

JURY LEAVE. Every Management Group employee of the City who is called or required to serve as a trial juror shall be entitled to absent himself/herself from his/her duties with the City during the period of such service or while necessarily being present in court as a result of such call. Such absence will not result in any loss of pay.
JURY LEAVE. Any teacher who serves on the jury in any duly constituted local, state, or federal court shall be granted leave with full compensation, less any compensation received as jury pay, for the period of his actual jury service, which leave shall be in addition to all other leave to which the teacher may be entitled. JURY LEAVE. The District agrees that any Employee called to serve on a petit jury shall receive their regular daily rate of pay for each day they are absent from duty. The Employee must remit any money received from the court to the District.
