Laboratory Instructors. Whenever there is an additional assignment made to the agreed upon workload, overload stipends shall be provided on a per lab basis in accordance with Appendix A. Laboratory Instructors. A full-time Laboratory Instructor position entails a time commitment of approximately 35-40 hours per week. An exceptionally heavy workload in one semester should be offset by a lighter-than-average workload in a subsequent semester. In the case of a part-time Laboratory Instructor, they will be expected to work that portion of a workweek that corresponds to the FTE percentage of the appointment.
Laboratory Instructors. PTCF members will be appointed to scheduled laboratory instruction positions on a prorated basis determined by the number of hours included in that instruction. Members appointed to scheduled laboratory instruction positions will be determined by the same hiring practices and procedures as outlined in the appointment process.
