Laboratory Instructors. Every appointment of a laboratory instructor is made at one of the following ranks: Laboratory Instructor III Laboratory Instructor II Laboratory Instructor I
Laboratory Instructors. Whenever there is an additional assignment made to the agreed upon workload, overload stipends shall be provided on a per lab basis in accordance with Appendix A. Laboratory Instructors shall not be required to accept an assignment that exceeds the agreed upon workload, nor shall the Laboratory Instructor receive adverse performance reviews or be disciplined for declining such an assignment.
Laboratory Instructors. Laboratory Instructors" (including Senior Lab Instructors) are persons, employed on a full-time or regular part-time basis, whose primary job responsibility is to instruct laboratories and perform related functions in connection with courses in degree, certificate, or diploma programs of the University but shall not include persons performing similar functions in another bargaining unit at the University.
Laboratory Instructors. The duties of a laboratory instructor are to provide support for teaching programs and shall include one, some, or all of:
a) laboratory instruction and related duties;
b) laboratory development and related professional activity;
c) administration and maintenance;
d) public service, especially to First Nations communities; and
e) work with First Nations Elders. Duties and workload relating to laboratory instruction and development are assigned by the Department Head following consultation in committee. Consultation in Committee as defined in Article 7.2 applies to this article.
Laboratory Instructors. The duties of a laboratory instructor are to provide support for the teaching program and shall include one, some, or all of:
a) laboratory instruction and other appropriate instructional duties;
b) laboratory development and related professional activity;
c) administration and maintenance; and
d) public service. Duties relating to laboratory instruction and development are assigned by the Xxxx following consultation in committee with the academic staff members. Whenever there is an additional assignment made to the agreed upon workload, overload stipends shall be provided on a per lab basis in accordance with Appendix A. Laboratory Instructors shall not be required to accept an assignment that exceeds the agreed upon workload, nor shall the Laboratory Instructor receive adverse performance reviews or be disciplined for declining such an assignment.

c) administration and maintenance; and
d) public service. Duties relating to laboratory instruction and development are assigned by the President, or designate, following consultation in committee. Whenever there is an additional assignment made to the agreed upon workload, overload stipends shall be provided on a per lab basis in accordance with Appendix A. Laboratory Instructors shall not be required to accept an assignment that exceeds the agreed upon workload, nor shall the Laboratory Instructor receive adverse performance reviews or be disciplined for declining such an assignment.
