LABOUR CONDITIONS. The State shall ensure that during the currency of this Agreement and subject to compliance with its obligations hereunder the Company shall not be required to comply with the labour conditions imposed by or under the Mining Act in regard to the mineral leases.
LABOUR CONDITIONS. 1.10.1 The Tenderers shall be aware that the majority of hourly paid and maintenance workers employed within the Owner’s organization are unionized. It is of utmost importance that any labour force used by the preferred Tenderer neither disrupts nor be disrupted by any labour conditions existing on the Owner’s property. LABOUR CONDITIONS. 41.1 RG Facilities has been engaged by the City as the City’s contract manager of the Victoria Centre Facility. As the contract manager, RG Facilities will carry out the operations of the Victoria Centre Facility on behalf of the City.
41.2 The City agrees and warrants that as contract manager of the City’s Victoria Centre Facility, RG Facilities is not and during the term of this Operating Agreement will not be bound by the City’s collective bargaining obligations.
41.3 It is understood and agreed that RG Facilities will hire and supervise its own labour force in carrying out its responsibilities under this Operating Agreement as the contract manager of the City’s Victoria Centre Facility.
41.4 It is further understood and agreed that the City will have no role or involvement in the hiring and supervision of RG Facilities’ labour force.
LABOUR CONDITIONS. The employment of fishermen on board vessels authorised under this Agreement shall be governed by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
LABOUR CONDITIONS. The Contractor shall ensure decent labour conditions for workers and notably compliance with applicable law and regulations in the country of implementation of the contract, and with the fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO). This includes workers’ rights related to wages, working hours, rest and leave, overtime, minimum age, regular payment, compensation and benefits, equal opportunities, a non-discriminatory workplace, best practice on human resource management and occupational health and safety. Wages, benefits and conditions of work will be comparable to employers in the relevant region of that country/region and sector concerned. The Contractor shall respect and facilitate workers' rights to organize and provide a Worker Grievance Mechanism for all workers, including the workers of subcontractors, shall receive an induction on their rights and on the Worker Grievance Mechanism. The Contractor will display the contact details of the Worker Grievance Mechanism at well visible places in all camps and work sides. The Contractor shall issue and implement internal policies and procedures to assure that no employee or job applicant will be subject to discrimination and/or harassment. The Contractor shall establish for their personnel and those of their main contractors a system to monitor hours worked on the Project and seek to identify and remedy any practices which lead to long working hours in excess of national legislation.
