The number of Lead Hands designated at any given time shall be within the sole discretion to the Employer. The Employer shall also have the sole and unfettered right to determine who to designate as Lead Hand, the duration of such designation, and to change the designees selected to receive the Lead Hand Premiums at times of the Employer’s choosing. SCHEDULE “B” Classification Guidelines REFRIGERATION GUIDELINES: Journeyperson: Holds all provincial licenses and qualifications to obtain the highest level of education and training for Refrigeration and have more than 9000 hours. Period 5 Advanced Apprentice: The Apprentice has completed and passed their advanced exam in Refrigeration. Period 4 Intermediate Apprentice: The Apprentice has completed and passed their intermediate exam in Refrigeration. Period 3 Beginner Apprentice: Person that is a Registered Apprentice with the Province in the HVAC/R. The person has completed and passed their beginner exam in Refrigeration. Period 2 Pre Apprentice: Designated by management to be enrolled in the Apprenticeship Program in HVAC/R.
