Leave for Elections. When a teacher is nominated as a candidate and wishes to contest a Municipal, Regional, Provincial, or Federal election, she shall be granted leave-of-absence without pay up to a maximum period of ninety (90) calendar days, upon written notification to the Superintendent of Schools. Should the teacher be elected Member of Parliament or Member of the Legislative Assembly, she shall be granted Long-Term Personal Leave upon request.
