Leave for Union Business. A. Leave for Union Business. A. An (Not applicable to MDT)
a) Reasonable leave of absence shall be granted to representatives of the Union to leave their employment temporarily in order to attend to Union business which shall include but is not limited to bargaining, employee/employer relations, benefits administration, and Union representation under the grievance procedure, and they shall suffer no loss of pay for the time so spent where they would have otherwise been at work. The OPSSU President or designee shall request permission in writing from the Administrator of Employee who Relations, with a copy to the appropriate Administrator and Supervisor. Both the request and the copy must be received at least ten (10) working days prior to commencement of the leave. Permission for such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld and no leave shall be taken until such permission is granted. Leave of absence may be granted with less than ten (10) working days’ notice, if mutually agreed.
b) The Employer shall not be obliged to pay for leaves of absence under (a) appointedabove in excess of one thousand (1,000) hours in any one (1) calendar year. The Employer may grant leave in excess of this amount on receipt of request as in (a) above. Once the one thousand (1,000) hours has been exhausted, selected or elected the Union agrees that the Employer may deduct from the monies to work be forwarded under Article 4.03, for a local union, or the wages of all employees subsequently granted leave under (a) above. Wages owed will be calculated as the number of hours of leave granted times the employee's regular rate.
c) Time spent in joint meetings shall be deducted from the time off entitlement in (b), except for time spent in committees identified in Article 6.

Leave for Union Business. A. An Employee who Properly qualified officers or representatives shall be granted leave of absence to carry out their duties insofar as the regular operation of the departments in which they are employed will permit and any application by them for such leave shall be given precedence over any other application for leave on the same day. Should the departmental requirements preclude the Company from being able to accommodate a request for Union leave, the Union will be notified immediately. The Union will then have the option of cancelling the leave request or proceeding. In the event the Union chooses to proceed with the request, the Company will attempt to arrange for equivalent coverage and, if successful, will recover from the Union the cost of the replacement employee’s wages. Replacement coverage will be filled in accordance with the terms of the Collective Agreement. It is agreed that the following conditions will apply subject to departmental requirements:

Leave for Union Business. A. (b) The Union shall reimburse the public employer for any compensation that is paid to the designated representative during a period of release time. Compensation paid under this subsection includes an employee’s wages, along with any employer contributions made toward any employee benefits, including all retirement benefits, so that the employer suffers no loss in advance cost of compensation or benefits during the period of release time. The employer shall continue to report all periods of release time as paid time eligible for service credits to the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), as authorized by law, and make all required contributions to PERS with full reimbursement by SEIU 503.
(c) The Employer is not liable for an act or omission of, or an injury suffered by, an employee of the leave termination dateEmployer if the act, omission or injury occurs during the course and scope of the employee serving as a designated representative for the exclusive representative during a period of release time. If the public employer is held liable, the exclusive representative shall indemnify the Employer and hold the Employer harmless from all liability arising from the act, omission or injury that occurred during the period of release time.

It is understood however, that the cumulative total of leave of absence granted under this section shall not exceed thirty (30) days in any calendar year and that request for such leaves of absence shall be made in writing at least two (2) weeks in advance of such leave. The Corporation agrees to confirm or deny the request for such leave of absence within five (5) days of receipt of the request. It is understood by the parties that less than two (2) weeks’ notice may be accepted in exceptional circumstances. In addition to the above, each member of the Union negotiating committee shall be allowed two (2) days leave of absence with pay to prepare for negotiations. It is agreed and understood by the parties that the Corporation shall invoice the Union and the Union shall forthwith provide full reimbursement to the Corporation.
(b) Where an Employee who is elected or appointed to a full-time or part-time on office, or employment with CUPE Local 905 or CUPE National or CUPE Ontario, the Corporation will consider a regular basis request for at least one month on Local Union problems an extended leave of absence for such Employee and concerns, the Corporation may grant such leave of absence. Such leave shall not be continued as a University Employee at the expense of the Unionunreasonably denied. The Employee Corporation shall pay the Employee’s wages and benefits during such leave, and may be permitted required to return top up the salary/Grade/level, to their classification with that which is assigned by the University upon twenty 905 Executive Board. (b) In exercising its rights under 20.2(a) the Union will take into consideration the availability of replacement staff. The total time of absence for all bargaining unit members granted under this clause shall not exceed an aggregate of sixty (60) days in a calendar year and providing the granting of such leave does not interfere with the efficient operations of the workplace. A bargaining unit member who is on a scheduled day off on a day that she/he is required to attend Union functions will, if she/he so requests and where possible, be granted an alternate day off without pay at a mutually agreeable time. The original scheduled day off will then be treated as a leave of absence for Union business. Such leave shall not be unreasonably denied or extended beyond twelve (12) months. The Union agrees to forward to the Board a written list of names of such Representatives, and a record of time spent by each Representative in settling disputes or elected attending investigations and a list of replacements obtained for Representatives who are required to work for a local union, or (be absent to settle disputes.
b) appointed or elected The Board agrees to a position on the Staff of the International Uniongrant time off, shall at the written request without pay during any working day to Officers of the Union in the employ of the Board for Union business purposes, provided:
i) that such time off shall not exceed a total of forty-eight (48) working hours in any one month for any one individual;
ii) that a written list of the names of such Officers in the employ of the Board shall be granted forwarded to the Secretary-Treasurer for this purpose;
iii) that a replacement is available if required;
iv) that the Board is advised by the Union each day that such officers will be absent.
c) The Board agrees to grant a leave of absence without pay for a period of up to three pay, not more than two (32) years. Any extension weeks after application from the Union, stating the intended duration of such leave, to a leave local Union Officer for business purposes provided a like period suitable substitute can be obtained, or to any employee who may be granted at the discretion of the University upon receipt of a written request at least forty-five (45) days in advance of the leave termination date.
B. While on said leave, the Employee shall request in writing and be allowed to remain in the Life Insurance, and Hospital Insurance Programs provided that the Employee pays the premiums.
C. To resume University service the Employee must provide written notification of such Employee's intent to return, at least forty-five (45) days in advance of the date such Employee intends to return. The Employee will return with full accumulated seniority.
D. Upon return for any such leave of absence, the Employee shall be re-employed at work generally similar to that which such Employee did last prior to the leave of absence. Return salary will be determined by the classification to which the Employee is returned.
E. The University and Union have agreed in a separate Memorandum of Agreement to a procedure which allows for the utilization of Union Business Time.
F. An officer of Local 2071, who is selected elected by the Union to work a full-time position in this local, or part-time on organizations affiliated with this local or selected by CUPE National for a regular basis for at least one month on Local Union problems and concerns, temporary staff position or who is elected to public office. The intended duration of such leave must be specified. It is agreed that such leave of absence shall be continued as renewed upon application providing that such leave of absence shall not exceed a University Employee period of two (2) years at any one time or for the expense term of public office, whichever is the longer. It is agreed that the seniority of any employee so elected shall not be adversely affected and shall accrue during such leave.
d) Bargaining representatives in the employ of the Union. The Employee shall be permitted to return to their classification with the University upon twenty days written notice from the Union. If more than one such vacancy exists, the Employee Board shall have the right privilege of attending collective bargaining meetings with the Board if held during regular working hours without loss of remuneration. The Union agrees to refuse to accept transfer to notify the first vacant position offered by Board of the Employer. If names of such employees, whose number, for the Employee refuses the first vacant position offeredpurpose of this section, such Employee shall be transferred by the Employer to not exceed a total of four (4) employees at any one of the other such vacant positions, and must accept such employment or be considered voluntarily terminatedtime.

Leave for Union Business. A. An Employee who is (a) appointed, selected or elected to work for a local union, or (b) appointed or elected to a position on the Staff of the International Union10.7.1 The Board agrees that time spent in settling grievances during regular working hours by Union Representatives, shall at be considered as time worked, provided that such time shall not exceed a total of twenty-four (24) working hours in any one month unless mutually agreed otherwise. 10.7.3 In order that the work of the Board shall not be unreasonably interrupted, no Xxxxxxx shall leave her work without obtaining permission of her supervisor, such permission shall not be unduly withheld.
10.7.4 The Board agrees to grant a leave of absence without pay for a period of up to three pay, not more than two (32) years. 10.7.5 Representatives of the Union shall not suffer any loss of pay or benefits for the total time involved in contract negotiations with the Board during scheduled collective bargaining sessions. The Union agrees to notify the Board of the names of such employees, whose number for the purpose of this Section shall not exceed a total of five (5) employees at any one time.
10.7.6 The Board shall pay employees on CUPE business their regular wages, and shall submit a regular basis for xxxx at least one month on Local Union problems and concerns, shall be continued as a University Employee at quarterly to the expense Secretary Treasurer of the Union. The Employee shall be permitted to return to their classification with the University upon twenty days written notice from the Union. If more than one such vacancy exists, the Employee shall have the right to refuse to accept transfer to the first vacant position offered by the Employer. Leave for Union Business. A. An Employee who (i) Subject to the need to maintain the approved level of service, leave of absence union paid and without loss of seniority or benefits shall be given to two (2) employees covered by this agreement to attend Union conventions, elections, education or training courses provided such leave does not exceed a total of forty-five (45) working days for the bargaining unit in a calendar year, and provided that a request for such leave is made at least seven (7) calendar days in advance of the date the leave is required, except in extenuating circumstances. Such requests shall not be unreasonably denied.
(ii) Members of the negotiating committee shall be allowed reasonable Union paid Leave of Absence (U.P.A.) from their duties for the purpose of conducting necessary business of the Local unit pertaining to negotiations, subject to the following provisions:
a) appointedsuch leave does not exceed a total of twenty four (24) working days for the Committee in the calendar year in which negotiations take place and;
b) such request is made at least forty eight (48) hours in advance to permit rearrangement of work assignments, such requests shall not be unreasonably denied. The request for the Union paid leave of absence (U.P.A.) forms must be signed by the Unit Chairperson. Such form will constitute due authorization for payroll to invoice the Union's Treasurer, who will then refund the Corporation.
(b) The Company agrees to pay into a special fund two cents (2¢) per hour per employee for all regular hours worked for the purpose of providing paid education leave. The company shall deduct one (1¢) cent of the above two (2¢) cents per regular hour worked per employee from their regular pay cheque. Such leave will be for upgrading the employee skills in all aspects of trade union functions. (c) The Transit department will provide three (3) bulletin boards in mutually satisfactory locations within the department, which will be available for the Union in posting notices of Union activities. All such notices must be signed by the proper officers of the Union.
(d) An employee selected or elected to work for a local unionfull-time position with the CAW, the Local Union, the Canadian Labour Congress, or (b) appointed or elected to a position on the Staff Ontario Federation of the International Union, Labour shall at the written request of the Union be granted a leave of absence without pay or benefits, but without loss of seniority, for a period of up to three (3) yearsyears and every year thereafter upon written request. The total time of absence for all bargaining unit members granted under this clause shall not exceed an aggregate of sixty (60) days in a calendar year and providing the granting of such leave does not interfere with the efficient operations of the workplace. A bargaining unit member who is on a scheduled day off on a day that they are required to attend Union functions will, if they so requests and where possible, be granted an alternate day off without pay at a mutually agreeable time. The original scheduled day off will then be treated as a leave of absence for Union business. Employees shall notify the Employer of their request for union leave at least ten (10) days in advance when possible. Part-time employees will receive service and seniority credit for all leaves granted under this Article.
(b) Upon application in writing by the Union on behalf of an employee to the Hospital, an unpaid leave of absence may be granted to such employee selected for a secondment or part-time on a regular basis for at least one month on Local Union problems and concernstemporary staff position with the Ontario Nurses’ Association. Such leave shall not be unreasonably denied or extended beyond twelve (12) months. Notwithstanding Article 12.04, there shall be continued as a University Employee at no loss of service or seniority for an employee during such leave of absence. It is understood that during such leave the expense employee shall be deemed to be an employee of the UnionOntario Nurses’ Association. The Union will provide the Hospital with the University upon twenty days four weeks written notice of the leave except in emergency situations. The Hospital will grant Leave for union Business to one nurse from any one Unit and will not unreasonably deny the Unionrequest. If Effective January 1, 2008, the Employee refuses the first vacant position offered, such Employee shall be transferred by the Employer to any one Bargaining Unit President will receive 2 days per month. A. An Employee who is The Union may designate up to four (a4) appointedmembers of the bargaining unit as their bargaining team for negotiations for a successor to this Collective Bargaining Agreement. These employees may request to be released without loss of pay for regular contract negotiations and such request shall not be unreasonably refused. This paragraph shall also apply to JHCC meetings and negotiations with release time for either the xxxxxxx or alternate xxxxxxx, selected with no more than one (1) representative receiving release time at any JHCC meeting or negotiation. Loss of pay shall only refer to hours of work for which the employee had been scheduled by the employer and would have worked except for the employee’s presence at negotiations.
B. Leave for Union Business. A. An Employee who Properly qualified officers or representatives shall be granted leave of absence to carry out their duties insofar as the regular operation of the departments in which they are employed will permit and any application by them for such leave shall be given precedence over any other application for leave on the same day. Should the departmental requirements preclude the Company from being able to accommodate a request for Union leave, the Union will be notified immediately. The Union will then have the option of cancelling the leave request or proceeding. In the event the Union chooses to proceed with the request, the Company will attempt to arrange for equivalent coverage and, if successful, will recover from the Union the cost of the replacement employee’s wages. Replacement coverage will be filled in accordance with the terms of the Collective Agreement. It is agreed that the following conditions will apply subject to departmental requirements:

Leave for Union Business. A. An (Not Applicable to MDT)
a) Reasonable leave-of-absence shall be granted to representatives of the Union to leave their employment temporarily in order to attend to Union business which shall include but is not limited to bargaining, employee/employer relations, benefits administration, and Union representation under the grievance procedure, and they shall suffer no loss of pay for the time so spent where they would have otherwise been at work. The OPSSU President or designee shall request permission in writing from the Administrator of Employee who Relations, with a copy to the appropriate Administrator and Supervisor. Both the request and the copy must be received at least ten (10) working days prior to commencement of the leave. Permission for such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld and no leave shall be taken until such permission is granted. Leave-of-absence may be granted with less than ten (10) working days notice if mutually agreed.
b) The Employer shall not be obliged to pay for leaves-of-absence under (a) appointedabove in excess of one thousand (1,000) hours in any one calendar year. The Employer may grant leave in excess of this amount on receipt of request as in (a) above. Once the one thousand (1,000) hours has been exhausted, selected or elected the Union agrees that the Employer may deduct from the monies to work be forwarded under Article 4.03, for a local union, or the wages of all employees subsequently granted leave under (a) above. Wages owed will be calculated as the number of hours of leave granted times the employee's regular rate.
c) Time spent in joint meetings shall be deducted from the time off entitlement in (b) appointed or elected except for time spent in committees identified in Article 6.

Leave for Union Business. A. c) that the Board is advised by the Union each day, via the Leave of Absence request, that such officers will be absent.
10.7.3 In order that the work of the Board shall not be unreasonably interrupted, no Xxxxxxx shall leave their work without obtaining permission of their supervisor, such permission shall not be unduly withheld.
10.7.4 The Board agrees to grant a leave of absence without pay for a period of up to three pay, not more than two (32) years. It is agreed that the seniority of any employee so elected shall not be adversely affected and shall accrue during such leave.
10.7.5 Representatives of the Union shall not suffer any loss of pay or benefits for the total time involved in contract negotiations with the Board during scheduled collective bargaining sessions. The Union agrees to notify the Board of the names of such employees, whose number for the purpose of this Section shall not exceed a total of five (5) employees at any one time.
10.7.6 The Board shall pay employees on CUPE business their regular wages and shall submit a regular basis for bill at least one month on Local Union problems and concerns, shall be continued as a University Employee at quarterly to the expense Secretary Treasurer of the Union. The Employee shall be permitted to return to their classification with the University upon twenty days written notice from the Union. If more than one such vacancy exists, the Employee shall have the right to refuse to accept transfer to the first vacant position offered by the Employer. F 5.2 Requests for leave of absence without pay for a period periods of up to three (3) years30 calendar days for the purpose of transacting Union business shall be submitted with as much notice as possible on a form supplied by the Corporation and will be subject to Departmental approval. Any extension of such a Minimum notice requirements will be as follows:
F 5.2.1 Requests for leave for a like period may periods of 3 days or less shall be granted at the discretion of the University upon receipt of a written request submitted at least forty-five (45) 2 working days in advance of the time leave termination dateis desired.
B. While on said leaveF 5.2.2 Requests for leave for periods exceeding 3 days but not exceeding 30 calendar days shall be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance of the time leave is desired.
F 5.2.3 On request by the Union, the Employee Corporation shall, during the period of leave of absence, continue to pay employees as if they had remained at work, but will bill the Union for all wage and benefit costs paid to or on behalf of employees on leave as well as any added cost of replacing employees during the period of leave of absence.
F 5.3 Requests for leave of absence for periods exceeding 1 month but not exceeding 3 years for the purpose of transacting Union business shall request be submitted in writing and be allowed to remain in the Life InsuranceDivision Manager, and Hospital Insurance Programs provided that the Employee pays the premiums.
C. To resume University service the Employee must provide written notification of such Employee's intent to return, Human Resources for approval at least forty-five (45) days 2 weeks in advance of the date such Employee intends leave is required.
F 5.3.1 Retention of employee benefits, including union seniority, and the continuation of contributory benefits during the period of leave will be as provided in Articles F 4.4 and F 4.4.1.
F 5.3.2 During a period of leave, employees will remain eligible to return. The Employee apply for posted vacant positions with the understanding that if selected they must be available when required by the department.
F 5.4 An employee returning to work within 6 months will return to the position held immediately prior to going on leave. If the job no longer exists, they shall return to a comparable position with full accumulated senioritynot less than the same wages and benefits.

The Employee shall be permitted to return to their classification with the University upon twenty days written notice from the Union. If more than one such vacancy exists, the Employee shall have the right to refuse to accept transfer to the first vacant position offered by suitable and available vacancy at the Employer. Leave for Union Business. A. An Employee who is (a) appointedThe Employer shall grant leaves of absence to employees to attend Union Conventions, selected Seminars, Education Classes or elected to work other Union business. Leave for Union Business. A. An Employee who is (a) appointedThe Bargaining Unit President or designate shall be granted up to a 1.0 FTE leave in order to conduct Union Business. The Bargaining Unit will be invoiced for the cost of replacement which will be based upon the annual salary and benefits of the lowest grid step DECE in the system at September 1 of each school year, selected or elected pro-rated according to work for a local unionrelease time and result in no additional cost to the Board. At the end of the term, the Bargaining Unit President shall return to the last position held if it exists, or (b) appointed or elected if it does not exist, the employee shall be placed in accordance with Article 16 Job Vacancies/Placement.
20.01.05.1 A DECE may be absent from duty for the purpose of carrying out Union Business subject to prior approval from Human Resources. The Bargaining Unit will be invoiced for replacement costs. Two days notification to the school Principal is required.
20.01.05.2 Appropriate replacements shall be hired by the Employer for members on Federation leave. Replacements will not be hired for Professional Activity days.
20.01.05.3 Members on such leave shall receive from the Employer, full salary and employee benefits including the accumulation of: credit for experience; seniority; sick leave; and all other rights and privileges under this Collective Agreement. The Bargaining Unit will be invoiced for replacement costs.
20.01.05.4 Members on Federation leave who access any paid and/or statutory leave as provided for in the Collective Agreement and/or statutory leave as provided for in the Collective Agreement and/or in legislation shall be replaced by a position member identified by the Bargaining Unit.
20.01.05.5 Employer-paid time release shall be granted to members who serve as Federation representatives on Employer-Employee committees which are designated in the Staff of Collective Agreement and convened during work hours. Additional committees may be agreed to by the International Union, shall at parties.
20.01.05.6 At the written request of the Union be granted a leave of absence without pay for a period of Bargaining Unit, the Board shall excuse from their duties up to three (3) years. b) No overtime shall be permitted paid when bargaining meetings go beyond seven (7) or eight (8) hours, and beyond the end of such regular full-time employee’s normally scheduled shift, except where the regular full-time employee is scheduled to return work overtime and cannot do so, when the Employer shall pay the regular full-time employee an amount equal to their classification with the University upon twenty days written notice from overtime he/she would have earned had he/she worked.
c) When the Union. If more than one such vacancy existsemployee in question is a regular part-time employee or casual Playland Operation employee, the Employee Employer shall pay regular straight time rate of pay for any shift he/she was scheduled to work or would have been scheduled to work on the right to refuse to accept transfer basis of seniority, had he/she not been in attendance at bargaining meetings between the Union and the Employer.

Leave for Union Business. A. An Employee who is (a) appointed, selected Union Stewards and Committee members who are required to be absent from their place of duty to deal with Union matters connected with this Agreement other than complaints or elected grievances must make written application for absence using the appropriate form. A. An Employee who is The Union may designate up to four (a4) appointedmembers of the bargaining unit as their bargaining team for negotiations for a successor to this Collective Bargaining Agreement. These employees may request to be released without loss of pay for regular contract negotiations and such request shall not be unreasonably refused. This paragraph shall also apply to JHCC meetings and negotiations with release time for either the xxxxxxx or alternate xxxxxxx, selected with no more than one (1) representative receiving release time at any JHCC meeting or negotiation. Loss of pay shall only refer to hours of work for which the employee had been scheduled by the employer and would have worked except for the employee’s presence at negotiations.

Leave for Union Business. A. An Employee 1. A Union Representative Employee, who is requested by the Union to take part in discussions between the Union and the Company, shall be paid for such time spent at the meeting as though he/she had worked at regular time.
a. Upon reasonable advance notice the Company shall grant leave of absence with pay to workers who are Union Officials engaged in Union matters connected with the Company.
(i) A worker who is required by the Union to take part in discussions between the Union and the Company shall be paid their normal eight hour work day/s.
(ii) When there are negotiations for a new Collective Agreement Union Representatives will not be required to work on that scheduled day/s.
(iii) Members of the negotiating teams will be placed on daylight hours during the period of negotiations where required.
2. When discussions are to be held at the Ministry of Labour or any other location in Port of Spain, time-off with pay will be as follows:
(a) appointed, selected or elected Meetings scheduled in the morning: Employees will not be required to report to work for a local union, or on that day.
(b) appointed Meetings scheduled in the afternoon: Employees will be required to work up to 11am.
3. In cases where discussions are to be held in Accordance with Article 17 Grievance Procedure, the appropriate arrangements must be made through the Industrial Relations Manager, or elected in his/her absence the Country Human Resource Manager.
4. For discussions between the Union and the Company at the work site, time off with pay in the amount of twenty-five (25) minutes will be granted to Union Officials and aggrieved Employees before the scheduled start of the meeting.
5. A worker who desires time off to engage in the affairs of the OWTU, will, after submission of a position written application from the Union Executive, be granted, depending on the Staff needs of the International UnionCompany's Operations, shall at the written request of the Union be granted a leave of absence without pay for a period of up to a maximum of two (2) years. Not more than one Employee per year may be eligible for this accommodation.
6. An extension of this leave of absence, for no more than one (1) additional year, must be submitted by the Union Executive, in writing at least three (3) yearsmonths before this period of absence has expired. Any extension Consideration of such a leave for a like period may this request will be granted at dependent on the discretion needs of the University upon receipt Company's Operations.
7. PriceSmart will be responsible for providing the Employer's contribution to approved Pension Schemes and Medical Plans as long as the Employee's contribution is maintained during this period. If the employee fails to make such contributions, PriceSmart shall not be required to make any. Leave of absence outlined above, shall not constitute a written request at least forty-five break in service, but shall be considered for seniority purposes.
8. The Company shall grant up to a maximum of forty (4540) days in advance of paid study leave, of not more than ten (10) days consecutively per employee, to not more than two (2) employees from any one club at anyone time, to attend recognized Trade Union courses and seminars up to a maximum of eight (8) employees per year, The Union shall provide notice no later than the Monday of the leave termination date.
B. While on said leave, the Employee shall request in writing and be allowed to remain in the Life Insurance, and Hospital Insurance Programs provided that the Employee pays the premiums.

D. Upon return for any such leave of absence, the Employee shall be re-employed at work generally similar to that which such Employee did last week prior to the leave of absencerequested period. Return salary will be determined by In the classification to which the Employee is returned.
E. The University and Union have agreed in a separate Memorandum of Agreement to a procedure which allows for the utilization of Union Business Time.
F. An officer of Local 2071, who is selected by the Union to work full-time or part-time on a regular basis for at least one month on Local Union problems and concerns, shall be continued as a University Employee at the expense of the Union. The Employee shall be permitted to return to their classification with the University upon twenty days written notice event that three (3) front line officers are from the Union. If same Club, time-off would not exceed more than one such vacancy exists, the Employee shall have the right to refuse to accept transfer to the first vacant position offered by the Employer. If the Employee refuses the first vacant position offered, such Employee shall be transferred by the Employer to any one of the other such vacant positions, and must accept such employment or be considered voluntarily terminatedtwice a year.
