Leave in Lieu of Payment for Overtime. Prior to working a stand-alone overtime shift (where only overtime hours have been rostered) an employee may elect to have additional hours added to their recreation leave balance in lieu of additional payment. Where this applies, the employee will accrue recreation leave on the basis of one hour’s leave for every hour of overtime worked, plus the following payment for all hours worked:  Monday to Saturday - 100% of base pay.  Sundays - 125% of base pay.  Public Holidays - 150% of base pay.
