Leave Use. Request for leave can be made for:  the employee’s own serious health condition as defined by the federal Family and Medical Leave Act, or  the serious health condition of a family member, defined, as spouse, children, stepchildren, parent, stepparent, brothers, sisters, stepbrothers, stepsisters, mother-in- law, father-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, aunt or uncle.
Leave Use. A. Each employee is required to take at least ten (10) days of accumulated personal leave per calendar year. Any employee who does not use their leave shall have the unused portion deducted from their annual leave account balance on January 15, unless the employee was refused permission to take annual leave because of compelling business need. In order for the Corporation to deduct unused leave, notification of the leave requirements must have been given to the employee no later than November 1 of the preceding calendar years.

  • Sick Leave Use Sick leave will be charged in one-tenth (1/10th) of an hour increments and may be used for the following reasons:

  • Shared Leave Use A. The Employer will determine the amount of leave, if any, which an employee may receive. However, an employee will not receive more than five hundred twenty- two (522) days of shared leave during their entire duration of state employment, except that, the Employer may authorize shared leave in excess of five hundred twenty-two (522) days in extraordinary circumstances for an employee qualifying for the shared leave program because he or she is suffering from an illness, injury, impairment or physical or mental condition that is of an extraordinary nature.

  • Leave Loading 10.2 The employer and the individual employee must have genuinely made the agreement without coercion or duress.

  • Excessive Use 4.11 If Your use of the Services is deemed by Us to be in excess of that which is normal for the Service which You have purchased, We may at Our discretion require You to move onto another Service which is more suitable for Your requirements.

  • Leave Usage Full shift absences on vacation, sick leave, compensating time off, or holiday in lieu taken by employees on scheduled ten-hour workshifts shall result in the deduction of ten (10) hours from employees’ accrued leave balances.

  • Exclusive Use (A) After the Occupancy Date, Lessee expressly agrees and warrants that the Leased Premises will be used exclusively as a Champps Restaurant or other casual dining sit-down restaurant. In any other such case, after obtaining Lessor's prior written consent, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed, Lessee may conduct any lawful business from the Leased Premises. Lessee acknowledges and agrees that any other use without the prior written consent of Lessor will constitute a default under and a violation and breach of this Lease. Lessee agrees: To open for business within a reasonable period of time after completion of construction of the contemplated Improvements; to operate all of the Leased Premises during the Term or Renewal Terms during regular and customary hours for businesses similar to the permitted exclusive use stated herein, unless prevented from doing so by causes beyond Lessee's control or due to remodeling; and to conduct its business in a professional and reputable manner.

  • Annual Leave Loading (a) In addition to their ordinary pay, an employee, other than a shiftworker, will be paid an annual leave loading of 17.5% of their ordinary pay on a maximum of 152 hours/four weeks annual leave per annum.

  • Leave Donation An employee may donate vacation leave, sick leave, or personal holiday to another employee for purposes of the leave sharing program under the following conditions:
