LEGAL DEFENSE INSURANCE. 42.1 The Company agrees to remit the sum of $2.00 per Officer per day to the Guild Legal Defense Fund to provide legal defense insurance to Guild members in good standing covered by this agreement. This remittance shall be made monthly, not later than the fifteenth of the following month to the fund administrator; Xxxxxxxx and Associate, P.O. Box 3517, Station C, Ottawa, Ontario, K1Y 4H5.

LEGAL DEFENSE INSURANCE. 25.01 Legal Defense Insurance for Officers covered by this Agreement shall be provided in the following manner:
LEGAL DEFENSE INSURANCE. The City shall provide legal defense insurance offered through the California Police Officers' Association for Police Department Employees. The plan agreed upon contains a $0 deductible and a $470 annual premium.
LEGAL DEFENSE INSURANCE. The City will contribute towards the PORAC Legal Defense Plan to provide sworn and nonsworn bargaining unit employees with legal representation in matters involving criminal investigations and charges arising from the performance of their duties. Coverage for new employees will commence on the first of the month following employment. Coverage for employees who resign, are terminated or otherwise leave the City’s employment will end on the last day of the month of separation from employment. The City will contribute the current contribution amount for Plan II coverage not to exceed five dollars per employee per month. The Association agrees to make PORAC payments on behalf of bargaining unit employees and further agrees to submit an invoice to the City for reimbursement of such amounts on a quarterly basis. The Association will provide a Legal Defense Plan description to the City. The City recognizes that communications between employees and attorneys provided through PORAC coverage are subject to attorney-client privilege, unless waived by the employee.

  • Insurance and Indemnity (a) The Hirer shall be liable for:

  • Trauma Insurance All employees will be covered by an Incolink administered lump sum insurance policy providing financial compensation in the event of a major work related (ie. WorkCover) accident resulting in death or permanent total disablement. The full and precise conditions of this cover will be in accordance with the terms of the policy, but in general will provide that, in the event of a workplace accident occurring which results in either the death or total permanent disablement of a worker covered by this Agreement, a lump sum payment as specified below will made. The defined payments are: With dependants $250,000 Without dependants $150,000 This benefit has been agreed to by the company on the grounds that premium costs have been set at $7 per week/worker and will not exceed that amount. In the event of insurance costs rising, it is agreed that the table of defined benefits will be reduced so as to maintain the $7 premium figure. To maintain this cover the company agrees to pay the amounts every week for each employee.

  • Commercial Umbrella Liability Insurance The Contractor shall provide a Commercial Umbrella Liability Insurance to provide excess coverage above the Commercial General Liability, Commercial Business Automobile Liability and the Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability to satisfy the minimum limits set forth herein. The umbrella coverage shall follow form with the Umbrella limits required as follows: For Contract Amounts Less For Contract Amounts Equal to or Than $5,000,000.00: Greater than $5,000,000: $ 2,000,000 per Occurrence $2,000,000 per Occurrence $ 4,000,000 Aggregate $10,000,000 Aggregate Additional Requirements for Commercial Umbrella Liability Insurance are shown below at Paragraph 1.5.3.3.6.
