Level 4 – Extremely Serious Behaviour. The Principal may suspend or expel a student in the following circumstances: Behaviour Category Example Possible Response/s Severe threats to others Making serious threats of violence, to harm or hurt or cause death, or illegal act towards another person via any means − Conversation with Head of School/ Principal − Contact parent/guardian − Search of student bag / locker − Internal suspension − Suspension − Early return from Marshmead / Banksia or Tour − Expulsion − An illegal act would involve consultation with Police An extremely serious offence which jeopardises the safety and security of other members of the school community or which seriously xxxxx the reputation of the School Physical violence to staff or student. Bringing a weapon or dangerous item to school or school event. Illicit/ Illegal substances Breaches of the drug education health and wellbeing policy such as using illicit substances whilst in school uniform, bringing elicit substances on school grounds. Includes possessing, consuming, inhaling, procuring or supplying drugs (see WHO definition) A serious breach of the School’s enrolment agreement, including but not limited to the Enrolment Terms and Conditions, the Student Behaviour Management policy and the Parent Code of Conduct.

  • Dangerous Goods, Special Wastes, Pesticides and Harmful Substances Where employees are required to work with or are exposed to any dangerous good, special waste, pesticide or harmful substance, the Employer shall ensure that the employees are adequately trained in the identification, safe handling, use, storage, and/or disposal of same.

  • Staffing Levels to deal with Potential Violence The Employer agrees that, where there is a risk of violence, an adequate level of trained employees should be present. The Employer recognizes that workloads can lead to fatigue and a diminished ability both to identify and to subsequently deal with potentially violent situations.

  • Non-Grievability No dispute over a claim for any benefits extended by this Health and Welfare Fund shall be subject to the grievance procedure.

  • Serious Illness Should a participant be unable to take the leave when scheduled because of serious injury or illness occurring before commencement of the leave, he/she may cancel the leave and receive payment as in Article 12.8.3.9 or, with the consent of the College, defer the leave to a time mutually agreeable, not to exceed one (1) year.

  • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

  • Behaviour No obscene or insulting language or disorderly behaviour shall be permitted. This includes any form of entertainment that may be considered lewd or inappropriate for a public place or that may offend or cause embarrassment to others.

  • Serious Health Condition An illness, injury, impairment, or physical or mental condition which warrants the participation of a family member to provide care during a period of treatment or supervision and involves either inpatient care in a hospital, hospice or residential health care facility or continuing treatment or continuing supervision by a health care provider (e.g. physician or surgeon) as defined by state and federal law.

  • Staffing Levels To the extent legislative appropriations and PIN authorizations allow, safe staffing levels will be maintained in all institutions where employees have patient, client, inmate or student care responsibilities. In July of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of each agency will, upon request, meet with the Union, to hear the employees’ views regarding staffing levels. In August of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of Budget and Management will, upon request, meet with the Union to hear the employees’ views regarding the Governor’s budget request.
