Parent Code of Conduct. First United Methodist Preschool of Upland requires the parents of enrolled children always, to behave in a manner consistent with decency, courtesy, and respect. One of the goals of our Preschool is to provide the most appropriate environment in which a child can grow, learn and develop. Achieving this ideal environment is not only the responsibility of the employees of our Preschool but is the responsibility of each parent or adult who enters the center. Parents are required to behave in a manner that fosters this ideal environment. Parents who violate the Parent Code of Conduct will not be permitted on property thereafter. Please refer to the Policy on “Parent’s Rights to Immediate Access” for additional information regarding disenrollment-enrollment of the child when a parent is prohibited from accessing Preschool property.  All flyers, hand-outs, and letters intended for distribution on any portion of Upland First United Methodist Church or Upland First United Methodist Church Preschool property including the parking lot, courtyard, classrooms and student cubbies, must be approved in writing by the Preschool Director prior to distribution. Preschool and Church property are considered a “non-solicitation zone” and parents are not allowed to sell any kind of product or merchandise to other families without written consent from the Preschool Director.  Concerns regarding major policy issues should immediately be brought to the attention of the Preschool Director. A letter detailing issues should also be submitted at that time for distribution to and consideration by the Preschool Director or the Preschool Board.  For the health of all First United Methodist Preschool of Upland employees, children and associates, smoking is prohibited anywhere on school property. Parents are prohibited from smoking in the building, on the grounds, and in the parking lot of our Preschool. Parents who are smoking in their cars must dispose of the cigarette (including pipes, cigars, etc.) prior to entering the premises.
Parent Code of Conduct. I (and my guests) will be a positive role model for my child and will encourage sportsmanship by showing respect and support of all team players. I (and my guests) will not in engage in any unsportsmanlike conduct toward the officials, coaches, players or other parents. This includes any comments negative in nature, booing, taunting, or using profane language or gestures. I will insure that my child treats other players, coaches, officials and spectators with respect. I will emphasize skill development and practices and how they benefit my child over winning, so that my child will never feel defeated by the outcome of a game or his/her performance. I/we understand that violation of any policies of CHSAA, USA hockey, Littleton Public Schools or Heritage Hockey may result in disciplinary action up to and including suspension or dismissal. I/we understand the payment schedule and fee policy. I/we understand the refund policy as stated above. I/we understand that registration and payment in no way reserves or guarantees a spot on any Heritage Hockey team, and that a player can be cut at any time. Parent Code of Conduct. 8.1 The Code of Conduct for parents and any visitors to the School is that of mutual respect for school staff and children. Parents should therefore adhere to the TES Community Values which include: ▪ Demonstrate respectful behaviour to all members of the School community. ▪ Manage their own child’s behaviour, especially where it could lead to conflict. ▪ Approach school staff through the correct communication channels to help resolve issues. ▪ Avoid using staff as threats to admonish children.

The St. Xxxxxxx Child Care Centre Code of Conduct sets clear standards of behavior that apply to all individuals involved in our Centre community including parents or guardians, volunteers, teachers, and/or Board members. These standards apply whether they are on Centre property or at Centre-sponsored events and activities. This type of behavior includes but is not limited to harassment or intimidation by written note, email, words, gestures and/or body language. No weapons are allowed on Centre property or at Centre functions. The consequences for failure to comply will include but is not limited to the family’s expulsion from the Centre. Alcohol and illicit drugs are not allowed on Centre property or at Centre sponsored events. The privacy and confidentiality of our parents, guardians, teachers, volunteers and students is important to us. All concerns and comments should be addressed with the teachers. Should this discussion not address your concerns, the next step is to review the situation with the Supervisor and/or Executive Director. If there is failure of resolution with the Supervisor/Executive Director, the matter will be referred to the appropriate member of the Board of Directors. Gossip and public criticism are unacceptable. There should be no discussion of concerns with other parents in the Centre hallways, the parking lot or via electronic mediums such as Facebook, MySpace, personal blog sites or other forms of electronic information sharing. Parent Code of Conduct. The purpose of a code of conduct for parents is to establish consistent expectations for behavior by parents. As a parent/guardian, I understand the important growth and developmental support that my child's participation fosters. I also understand that it is essential to provide the coaching staff with respect and the authority to coach the team. I agree with the following statements:  I will set the right example for our children by demonstrating sportsmanship and showing respect and common courtesy at all times to the team members, coaches, competitors, officials, parents, and all facilities.  I will get involved by volunteering, observing practices, cheering at meets, and talking with my child and their coach about their progress.  I will refrain from coaching my child from the stands during practices or meets.  I understand that criticizing, name-calling, use of abusive language, gestures, or actions directed toward coaches, officials, volunteers, other parents and/or any participating swimmer will not be tolerated.  I will respect the integrity of the officials.  I will direct my concerns to first to my child?s coach then, if not satisfied, to the appropriate supervisor.  I will follow the rules of the facilities where my son and or daughter is participating I understand the above expectations and that my failure to adhere to them may result in disciplinary action such as a suspension and or expulsion of myself from future Elkhart United Aquatics practices, meets, or events. Bullying Reporting Expectations for Parents A parent who feels that their child has been bullied should do one or more of the following things: Talk to a Elkhart United Aquatics coach, Board member or other designated individual; Write a letter or email a Elkhart United Aquatics coach, Board member or other designated individual; Make a report to the USA Swimming Safe Sport staff. There is no express time limit for initiating a complaint under this procedure, but every effort should be made to bring the complaint to the attention of the appropriate club leadership as soon as possible to stop the bullying behavior as soon as possible and to make sure that memories are fresh and behavior can be accurately recalled.
