Level II Mediation. Within ten (10) calendar days of filing Level II pursuant to 15.2.2.1.4 the Parties shall:

Level II Mediation. If the grievant and/or the Association are not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level I, the Association may refer the grievance to mediation. The Association shall request that a mediator from the California State Mediation and Conciliation Service be assigned to assist the parties in the resolution of the grievance.
Level II Mediation. The grievant shall notify the District Administrator in writing within five (5) days of receipt of the Level I decision of the decision to proceed to Level II.
Level II Mediation. If the grievant is not satisfied with the decision at Level I then either the Association or the Superintendent may submit the grievance to mediation through the State Mediation and Conciliation Service. A copy of the request for mediation shall be sent to the other party.
Level II Mediation. Within ten (10) days of the receipt of the Level 1 decision, if the grievance is not resolved, the Grievant may request that a mediator from the State Mediation and Conciliation Service or any other mutually agreeable dispute resolution center be assigned to assist the parties in the resolution of the complaint. The mediator shall meet with the parties within ten (10) days (or longer by request of the mediator).
