Lunch Period Time Sample Clauses

Lunch Period Time. Any employee covered by this Agreement who is required to work into their lunch period so that they have less than 20 minutes off to eat shall be paid for the entire scheduled lunch period, and the entire period shall count as hours worked. If any employee is required to work two (2) hours past the starting time of his/her normal noon mealtime without being permitted to eat, he/she will be allowed thirty minutes of paid time to eat. Present practice of certain employees taking a 30-minute lunch period and quitting at 30 minutes prior to end of normal work day will be continued provided it does not interfere with Company operations. The Company reserves the right to reschedule for a one-hour lunch period.

  • Lunch Period Employees who work five (5) hours or more shall be granted a thirty (30) minute, duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period, which may or may not be during the normal lunch hours.

  • Lunch Time The “duty free” lunch time for assistants will be the same length as the building lunch time for students provided that the lunch is no less than thirty (30) minutes in length.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • Duty-Free Lunch Period All teachers shall be entitled to a thirty-five (35) minute duty free lunch period.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Working Day Working Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or a holiday which is observed by the construction industry in the area of the Place of the Work.
