Lunch Time. The “duty free” lunch time for assistants will be the same length as the building lunch time for students provided that the lunch is no less than thirty (30) minutes in length.
Lunch Time. All teachers shall be granted a minimum forty (40) minute lunch period without assigned responsibilities. The pass time between bells shall not be included in the calculations of a teacher’s lunch period. When necessary, and with mutual agreement between the Superintendent (or designee) and the B.E.A. President, the forty (40) minute lunch period may be reduced to accommodate other instructional needs and objectives. The occasional shortening of the forty (40) minute lunch period for routine activities such as assemblies, pep rallies or early releases shall not be subject to this provision. However, in no instance shall lunch be shortened to less than 35 minutes under any of the aforementioned circumstances.
Lunch Time. Head Custodian 1, Elementary and Head Custodian 1, Xxxxxx shall have lunch time of thirty (30) minutes included in working time of seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours per day. However, his/her lunch time can be interrupted to perform an essential task(s) for the principal.
Lunch Time. Teachers will have a duty-free lunch period of at least the length of a regular student lunch period.
1. In the event that a principal must assign lunch duty to a teacher, the principal will grant compensatory time.
a. Every teacher, even if s/he is assigned lunchroom duty, will be given at least twenty
Lunch Time. The length of the guaranteed duty-free lunch period shall not be less than forty minutes unless there is a change in the traditional schedule.

Lunch Time. A. Yard crews will be allowed one hour for lunch between 4 and 4 1/2 hours after starting work without deduction in pay.
B. Yard crews will not be required to work longer than 4 1/2 hours without being allowed one hour for lunch with no deduction in pay or time therefore.
C. Yard crews will be allowed one fifteen minute coffee break after 2 hours on duty and an additional fifteen minute coffee break after 6 hours on duty without deduction in pay or time therefore.
D. The time for fixing the beginning of assignments or meal periods is to be calculated from the time fixed for the crew to begin work as a unit without regard to preparatory or individual duties.
E. When it is determined that more than 1 hour of overtime work is required, the yard crew will advise the supervisor if they wish a hot meal. Upon receipt of such advice the supervisor will arrange the work in such a manner that the crew will have the opportunity to have a hot meal at the completion of nine hours of work. The crew will take their hot meal as a unit with the minimum time necessary to obtain a hot meal. Note: This paragraph does not preclude the supervisor advising the crew after the seventh hour that overtime will be required and the crew may be released by the supervisor then or later for a hot meal. When so released, it will not be necessary to provide an opportunity of obtaining a hot meal at the completion of nine hours of work.
Lunch Time. Secondary teachers shall have a duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period equivalent to student lunch periods.
Lunch Time. Thirty (30) minutes of the workday is normally allowed for a meal.
