Maintenance of Current Sick Leave Account. When this account is zeroed out upon the employee reaching his or her eligibility date, a new sick leave award period starts. when this account is zeroed out upon reaching the employee’s eligibility/anniversary date, a new sick leave award period begins. • Maintenance of Unused Sick Leave Account – When half of the Current Sick Leave Balance is transferred to this account, the balance is accumulated and maintained in this account. Sick leave hours are used as needed, and there is no maximum balance limit. when half of the current sick leave balance is transferred to this account, the new balance will immediately reflect the addition of these hours to the previous balance. There is no maximum balance limit for this account. • Other Accrual Provisions (Full-Time Employees) • Award of sick leave hours will continue for the first 90 calendar days of a leave of absence. • Use of sick leave hours immediately after the employee’s expected return date from a leave of absence does not constitute a return to work for the purposes of sick leave accrual. Sick leave hours will continue to accrue if the employee is still within the 90-day period from the leave start date. Sick leave accrual will not resume during the use of sick leave hours immediately beyond the 90-day period from the leave of absence start date. • For partial months, the sick leave hour award is 1/30 of eight hours sick leave for each day of the month for which the employee is eligible to accrue sick leave. These hours are rounded to 1/10 of an hour. • When an employee is on a leave of absence for 90 days or less, 80 hours of sick leave will be awarded on the sick leave eligibility date. • When an employee is on a leave of absence greater than 90 days, 24 hours of sick leave will be awarded on the sick leave eligibility date. Upon return to work, employees will receive a prorated sick leave award for the remaining days until their next sick leave eligibility date, less the 24 hours that were previously awarded • Eligibility dates and accumulated sick leave credits established prior to this Agreement will not be changed as a result of this Agreement. • Part-Time - Part-time employees are awarded 24 hours of sick leave on their sick leave eligibility date and then accrue sick leave hours based on hours paid (excluding overtime and applicable bonus hours, Financial Security Plan [FSP], and Short Term Disability payments).   • Utilization of Sick Leave with Pay Temporary employees who have earned sick leave credits in their temporary appointment shall be eligible for sick leave for any period of absence from employment due to any of the following reasons: • illness; • bodily injury; • disability resulting from pregnancy; • necessity for medical or dental care; • if the employee is a victim of domestic violence, harassment, sexual assault, or stalking; or the parent or guardian of a minor child or dependent who is a victim of domestic violence, harassment, sexual assault or stalking, pursuant to ORS 659A.270 through 659A.290; • attendance at an employee assistance program; • exposure to contagious disease; • for the emergency repair of personal assistive devices which are medically necessary for the employee to perform assigned duties; • attendance upon members of the employee’s or the employee’s spouse’s immediate family, or the equivalent of each for domestic partners, (parent, wife, husband, children, brother, sister, grandmother, grandfather, grandchild, or another member of the immediate household) where the employee’s presence is required because of illness or death; • parental leave. The employee has the duty to insure that they make other arrangements, within a reasonable period of time, for the attendance upon children or other persons in the employee’s care. Certification of an attending physician or practitioner may be required by the Agency to support the employee’s claim for sick leave if the employee is absent in excess of seven (7) days, or if the Agency has evidence that the employee is abusing sick leave privileges. The Agency may also require such certificate from an employee to determine whether the employee should be allowed to return to work where the Agency has reason to believe that the employee’s return to work would be a health hazard to either the employee or to others. (See Section 4 for FMLA and OFLA.)

  • INTERIM MAINTENANCE PERIOD During the interim maintenance period between obtaining of the completion certificate of Project and formation and operationalization of the Association the Promoter shall through itself or through a facility management company constitute a committee to run, operate, manage and maintain the Common Areas.

  • Facility Maintenance Seller shall perform, or cause to be performed, all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance required on the Facilities in order to meet the Warranty Specifications and Performance Standards.   • Commitment of Current Revenues Only In the event that, during any term hereof, the Commissioners Court does not appropriate sufficient funds to meet the obligations of County under this Agreement, County may terminate this Agreement upon ninety (90) days written notice to Company. County agrees, however, to use reasonable efforts to secure funds necessary for the continued performance of this Agreement. The parties intend this provision to be a continuing right to terminate this Agreement at the expiration of each budget period of County.
