MASONRY CLEANING. 29.1 Except for masonry cleaning performed by an Employer with its own employees on a structure that it has erected or on which it has performed restoration work, the cleaning of any type of masonry shall be performed only by an Employer that is a Certified Masonry Cleaning Contractor (“CMCC”) as determined by the District Council. 29.2 Each CMCC shall notify the District Council on a form to be provided by the District Council and to be received by the District Council by facsimile transmission, mail, or personal delivery, or by telephone in accord with procedures to be set by the District Council if it would be impossible to provide written notice, at least 48 hours before the work is performed, each location at which the CMCC will be performing masonry cleaning. 29.3 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, a CMCC performing masonry cleaning may treat Saturday and Sunday as regular work days and is not required to pay a premium rate for work on Saturday or Sunday except for work in excess of 40 hours in one week or in excess of eight hours in one day, may employ up to three Apprentices or Improvers for each Journeyman, and may utilize any number of Improvers and any number of Apprentices in filling whatever number of Apprentice and Improver positions are available to it. 29.4 Each Employer subletting such work shall identify, on form to be provided by the District Council, the name of each contractor to which masonry cleaning was sublet during the previous month, the location of each job where such work was sublet, and the dates of performance. 29.5 No Employer that subcontracts work to a cleaning contractor that is signatory to an agreement with the District Council shall be responsible, liable, or involved in any way with any dispute as to which craft employees are assigned to perform the cleaning work.

MASONRY CLEANING. This Specification describes a cleaning system designed to effectively clean and restore the existing exterior masonry surfaces. The system combines the application of a specific restorative cleaner with efficient rinsing pressure.
MASONRY CLEANING. Demonstrate the materials and methods to be used for cleaning each type of masonry surface and condition on sample location approximately 25 sq. ft. in area. 1) Test materials and methods on samples of adjacent non-masonry materials for possible reaction with cleaning materials, except where materials and methods are known to have a deleterious effect on such materials. 2) Allow a waiting period of the duration indicated, but not less than 3 calendar days, after completion of sample cleaning to permit a study of sample panels for negative reactions.

  • WINDOW CLEANING Tenant shall not clean, nor require, permit, suffer or allow any window in the Premises to be cleaned from the outside in violation of Section 202 of the Labor Law, or any other Requirement, or of the rules of the Board of Standards and Appeals, or of any other board or body having or asserting jurisdiction.

  • Equipment Cleaning (a) Areas, known by Forest Service prior to timber sale advertisement, that are infested with invasive species of concern are shown on Sale Area Map. A current list of invasive species of concern and a map showing the extent of known infestations is available at the Forest Supervisor’s Office. For purposes of this provision, “Off-Road Equipment” includes all logging and construction machinery, except for log trucks, chip vans, service vehicles, water trucks, pickup trucks, cars, and similar vehicles.

  • Cleaning 8.1 CONTRACTOR shall, at his own expenses, at all times keep the premises free from accumulation of debris, waste materials, and rubbish, and at the completion of the work, he shall remove his tools and equipment and all surplus materials, debris, waste material, and rubbish and shall leave the premises in a neat and clean condition. If CONTRACTOR does not attend to such cleaning immediately upon request, OWNER shall have the right to have this work done by others and deduct the cost therefore from the payment due CONTRACTOR hereunder.

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins. (2) Maintain waterbars, drainage dips, and other water diversion measures. (3) During active use, patrol and maintain functional drainage. (4) Repair damaged culvert ends.

  • Moonlighting Employment as a physician in a professional capacity outside of what is outlined in this Agreement, whether temporary special medical activity (“TSMA”) or external moonlighting, must be approved in writing, in advance, by the Departmental Chair, Program Director and Director of Graduate Medical Education (or designee). Even if approved, professional and general liability insurance as outlined in Section 5.4 is not provided to Trainee engaged in external moonlighting. Trainee acknowledges he or she has the responsibility to obtain insurance for such engagement. TSMA and external moonlighting must be included and reported as part of Trainee's hours spent on clinical experience and education. Trainee shall not be required to engage in any outside work.

  • Mowing a. Mowing height for Bahia turf shall be a uniform cut at three (3) inches and shall not be permitted to grow to more than four (4) inches. b. Turf shall be mowed once per (1) week from March 1 through October 31 and once every two (2) weeks from November 1 through February 28.

  • Welding Welding and use of cutting torches or cutoff saws will be permitted only in areas that have been cleared or are free of all material capable of carrying fire. Flammable debris and vegetation must be removed from within a minimum 10-foot radius of all welding and cutting operations. A shovel and a 5-gallon standard backpack water container filled and with handpump attached shall be immediately available for use in the event of a fire start. C8.64 – DEBARMENT AND SUSPENSION CERTIFICATION (3/18). Pursuant to 2 CFR 180 and 2 CFR 417, Purchaser shall certify and obtain certifications from its Subcontractors regarding debarment, suspension, ineligibility, and voluntary exclusion, including additional Subcontractors obtained after award of this contract. “Subcontractors” are participants in lower tier covered transactions. Purchaser may rely upon a certification of a prospective Subcontractor that it is not proposed for debarment under 48 CFR 9.4, debarred, suspended, ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participating in covered transactions or timber sales, unless Purchaser knows that the certification is erroneous. Purchaser shall keep the certifications of its Subcontractors on file until timber sale Termination Date and any extensions thereof, and will provide a copy at the written request of Contracting Officer. Nothing contained in the foregoing shall be construed to require establishment of a system of records in order to render in good faith the certification required by this Subsection. The knowledge and information of Purchaser is not required to exceed that which is normally possessed by a prudent person in the ordinary course of business dealings. If Purchaser knowingly enters into a timber sale transaction with a person who is proposed for debarment under 48 CFR 9.4, suspended, debarred, ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participation in covered transactions or timber sales, in addition to other remedies available to the Government, Forest Service may pursue available remedies, including suspension and/or debarment. Contracting Officer shall provide a copy of Forms AD-1047 Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension and Other Responsibility Matters – Primary Covered Transactions and AD-1048 Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension, Ineligibility and Voluntary Exclusion – Lower Tier Covered Transactions to the Purchaser. Purchaser shall complete form AD-1047 and provide to the Contracting Officer upon request. Purchaser shall require each subcontractor to complete form AD-1048 and provide to the Contracting Officer upon request.
