Maximum Allowable Vacation Credit. 1. For full-time staff employees working a forty (40) hour workweek, maximum accruals at any one (1) time with less than ten (10) years of full-time continuous service shall be two hundred forty (240) hours. The maximum allowable vacation credit at any one (1) time for a full-time staff employee with ten (10) or more years of full-time continuous service shall be three hundred twenty (320) hours. All vacation hours earned in excess of the maximum allowable vacation credit shall be paid in the pay period earned.

The maximum allowable vacation credit at any one (1) time for a staff Battalion Chief or Fire Division Chief with ten (10) or more years of full-time continuous service shall be four hundred (400) hours. All vacation hours earned in excess of the maximum allowable vacation credit shall be paid in the pay period earned.

Employees shall be paid for all earned vacation hours exceeding three hundred twenty (320) hours. No vacation entitlement, floating holidays, or banked time for 40-hour per week employees accrues while a member is in receipt of LTD benefits.

  • Reallocation to a Class with an Equal Salary Range Maximum 1. If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position, the employee remains in the position and retains existing appointment status.

  • Vacation Credits All employees shall participate in the County’s Terminal Pay Plan (Plan). However, only the terminal paychecks (including unused vacation) of those employees who have reached the age of fifty-five (55) shall be placed into the Plan. These terminal paychecks shall be placed into the Plan on a pre-tax basis in accordance with the Plan, all applicable laws and all rules and regulations applicable to the Plan.
