Meals and Meal Allowances. 16.3 (a) When the Employer provides a meal or meal allowance (as distinguished from a per diem or penalty) to a working unit, the Employees in that working unit (other than those receiving a per diem allowance for meals on distant locations) will be provided a meal or the same meal allowance where they have satisfied the same terms and conditions for entitlement to such meal or allowance. Meals provided by the Employer shall not be deducted from the Employee’s wages.

Meals and Meal Allowances. (i) An employee required to work overtime for more than two (2) hours without being notified on the previous day or earlier that they will be so required to work shall either be supplied with a meal by the employer or paid $11.25per meal. Unless the employer advises an employee on the previous day or earlier that the amount of overtime to be worked will necessitate the partaking of a second or subsequent meal (as the case may be) the employer shall provide such second and/or subsequent meals or make payment in lieu thereof as above prescribed.

  • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • Safety Footwear Allowance Effective 1/1/07, the Contra Costa Community College District will provide an initial two pairs of safety/protective work boots or shoes for employees in the following classifications: Building Maintenance Worker, Equipment Maintenance Worker, Senior Equipment Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Mechanic, Lead Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Assistant, Ground Worker / Gardener I, II, Senior or Lead, Shipping and Receiving Clerk, and all other mutually agreed upon classifications required to wear safety; protective shoes per OSHA/ASTM standards.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.
