Safety Footwear Allowance. Effective 1/1/07, the Contra Costa Community College District will provide an initial two pairs of safety/protective work boots or shoes for employees in the following classifications: Building Maintenance Worker, Equipment Maintenance Worker, Senior Equipment Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Mechanic, Lead Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Assistant, Ground Worker / Gardener I, II, Senior or Lead, Shipping and Receiving Clerk, and all other mutually agreed upon classifications required to wear safety; protective shoes per OSHA/ASTM standards.
20.15.1 Each of the above employees shall receive an additional par of boots/shoes annually. The shoes provided must been OSHA/ASTM standards. District will allow up to $200.00 per pair. Each site will establish purchase orders or procedures with appropriate establishments in each of the three (3) service areas for purchase of the work boots/shoes.
20.15.2 Employees eligible for this program are required to wear safety/protective work boots or shoes at all times while on duty. Employees willfully abusing/misusing this procedure will be required to provide their own work boots or shoes.
Safety Footwear Allowance. Where required by the Workers’ Compensation Act or when the Employer deems it necessary in writing and does not provide footwear, the Board shall provide such employees by February 1st with sixty dollars ($60) per year footwear allowance for the sole purpose of purchasing appropriate safety or protective footwear. The employee will be required to wear such safety footwear during their working hours.
Safety Footwear Allowance. Where required, the Co-operative shall reimburse one-hundred (100%) percent of the price, or one hundred and twenty-five ($125.00) dollars per pair, whichever is the lesser, toward the cost of CSA safety footwear. This reimbursement shall be limited to once every twenty-four (24) months. The safety footwear reimbursement is only applicable to employees who have completed their probationary period.
Safety Footwear Allowance. (a) Where The count team employees, who have completed probation and are required to wear safety approved footwear in the performance of their regular duties, upon production of a receipt, will be reimbursed an annual footwear allowance of $120.
(b) The Employee may purchase required footwear from a vendor of their choosing.
Safety Footwear Allowance. 51.01 On the 1st of April each year, full-time employees who are required to wear safety footwear as prescribed under the Occupational Health and Safety Act will receive a one hundred-and- seventy-five-dollar ($175.00) footwear allowance.
Safety Footwear Allowance. (a) A boot allowance of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per annum shall be paid to Waterworks Meter Readers, and suitable caps and badges shall be provided by the Employer.
(b) For regular employees who have passed their probationary period, the Employer shall contribute one hundred dollars ($100.00) annually towards the purchase of footwear required by Workers' Compensation Board Regulations.
Safety Footwear Allowance. 54.1 Upon presentation of a receipt, The City of Red Deer will reimburse those employees who are required to wear safety footwear. The reimbursement towards the cost of CSA approved safety footwear will be $125.00 once per year for non-permanent employees and $175.00 maximum per year for permanent employees.
Safety Footwear Allowance. Nutrition Services and Bus Drivers Each Nutrition Services and Bus Driver employee shall receive a $100.00 shoe allowance, paid in June, for closed-toed, closed-heel, slip-resistant shoes. Employees who do not work a full year for their position will receive a prorated amount.
Safety Footwear Allowance. The Employer will supply the safety equipment it considers necessary to protect employees and the public, at no cost to the employees, except safety footwear which shall be provided as follows. Inside employees who are designated by the Employer, as required to wear safety footwear, shall be allowed up to per contract year to obtain and maintain safety footwear that has been approved by their immediate Supervisor. An employee is allowed to carry over any unused portion of the allowance into the following contract year. Xxxxxxxxx shall not exceed that contract year's entitlement. Safety footwear shall be that manufactured for the purpose, and be of good quality and proper style and employees shall not be permitted to work unless they are wearing the safety footwear. The Employer shall pay the full cost for the purchase, replacement or repair of safety footwear that an employee must have made-to-measure.
Safety Footwear Allowance a) Subject to Articles 21 and 27:01 (c), the Corporation shall make the following payments, on the last pay day of each year, towards the purchase of safety footwear by probationary and permanent employees in the following jobs who were required by the Corporation to wear safety footwear as at December 1 of that year:
i) $160 every year for those classifications on Appendix A with the notation 1.
ii) $160 every two years for those classifications on Appendix A with the notation 2.
iii) $160 every three years for those classifications on Appendix A with the notation 3.
b) If an employee in a newly-created job is required to wear safety footwear as a condition of employment with the Corporation, or if changes occur regarding the requirement for an employee to wear safety footwear, the parties may negotiate a safety footwear payment for the employee. If the parties are unable to agree, such dispute may be submitted to grievance at Step 3 and, if requested, arbitration.
c) A temporary or casual employee in a job listed in Article 27:01 (a) shall receive an allowance, for the purchase of safety footwear as follows:
i) on the first pay day after January 1, $11.25 for each full month of service in the 12-month period prior to January 1 and;
ii) upon termination of employment, $11.25 for each full month of service between January 1 and the date of termination.
