Alcohol Tests. A. All alcohol tests will be conducted in accordance with the Breath Analyzer Methodology in effect.
B. A positive test for alcohol shall be .05 grams/210 liters.
Alcohol Tests. Alcohol testing shall be done in the same manner as to detect drivers operating a motor vehicle under the influence. A positive result of a blood alcohol concentration of .03% or above shall entitle the Employer to proceed with sanctions as set forth in this Article.
Alcohol Tests. An employee must present picture identification at Fostoria Community Hospital or the designated test center. Alcohol tests will be performed using an evidential breath testing device. The employee shall follow all instructions given by the breath alcohol technician. In the event that an employee, on the basis of the evidential breath test, has a blood-alcohol content of .02 to .03999, the employee shall be removed from duty, without pay, for twenty-four (24) hours or until their next scheduled on-duty time, after completion of the twenty-four (24) hour out of service period, whichever is longer. The employee will be subject to disciplinary action. A test result of .04 or over will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. All alcohol tests shall be performed just prior to, during, or just after performing safety sensitive functions. An employee testing .02 or above must immediately contact the Safety-Service Director and inform him of the test result. An employee testing .02 or above shall not operate a City vehicle.
Alcohol Tests. When alcohol testing is required a trained breath alcohol technician shall administer a breath test to determine whether there is an alcohol concentration of 0.02 or greater. Any breath test with a result of 0.02 or greater shall be followed with a confirmatory test within fifteen minutes. The costs of the reasonable suspicion drug tests shall be paid by the Town. Any return to duty tests shall be paid for by the town. An employee who refuses to submit to a test, tests positive for a controlled substance and/or an alcohol concentration of 0.02 or greater under the tests described above shall be subject to discipline, up to and including dismissal. Discipline other than dismissal may include but shall not be limited to the following:

Alcohol Tests will be administered using blood, breath or saliva and confirmed using an approved breath testing devise, blood is screen and confirmed in lab. In the case of post-accident or for cause testing, an onsite test may be used by qualified personnel identified by the TPA. All non-negative results must be confirmed with a standard confirmation test. (i.e. GC/MS or EBT). All handling and transportation of each specimen will be properly documented through strict chain of custody protocol. To the greatest extent possible, the privacy of the employee will be preserved.
Alcohol Tests. Contractor shall also provide alcohol tests in conformity with 49 CFR Part 40. Alcohol tests will be required for reasonable suspicion and post-accident testing. Alcohol tests may be required for return-to-duty and follow-up testing, as determined by the SAP, and at the driver’s expense.
Alcohol Tests. 1) Consequences of positive test results showing .04 or more grams of alcohol per 210 liters of breath:
A) On the first occasion, the employee may be suspended from work for a maximum of two (2) weeks; will be warned that a second positive test may result in a suspension of up to four (4) weeks and a third positive test may result in dismissal; shall be evaluated by a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), will be restricted from driving a vehicle, working on a vehicle, or performing other safety sensitive functions until she/he is evaluated by a SAP and tests less than .02 grams of alcohol per 210 liters of breath on an alcohol test; and will be subject to unannounced testing as required by law but not to exceed two years.
B) On the second occasion, the employee may be suspended for a maximum of four weeks; will be warned that she/he may be dismissed should she/he have a third positive alcohol test; shall be evaluated by SAP, will be restricted from driving a vehicle, working on a vehicle, or performing other safety sensitive functions until she/he is evaluated by an SAP and tests less than .02 grams of alcohol per 210 liters of breath in an alcohol test and will be subject to unannounced testing as required by law but not to exceed two years.
C) On the third occasion of a positive alcohol test, the employee may be dismissed.
2) Consequences of positive test results showing .02 but less than .04 grams per 210 liters of breath for employees who are required to have a Commercial Driver's License: If at any time an employee is tested for alcohol and has a test result reflecting .02 but less than .04 grams of alcohol per 210 liters of breath in her/his body, she/he may be suspended without pay for the remainder of the day and be restricted from driving, performing work on a vehicle or performing other safety sensitive functions for 24 hours. She/he will also be warned of the consequences of additional positive tests set forth in this section. Employees who are restricted from working more than twice within a rolling twelve month period following the date of the first positive alcohol test reflecting .02 but less than .04 grams of alcohol per 210 liters of breath will be subject to the following consequences:
A) On the third occasion of a positive alcohol test during a rolling 12 month period reflecting .02 but less than .04 grams of alcohol per 210 liters of breath, the employee may be given a suspension of up to four weeks; and

(1) for travel time one way if the collection site is reasonably en route between the employee's home and the terminal, and the employee is going to or from work; or
(2) for travel time both ways between the terminal and the collection site, only if the collection site is not reasonably en route between the employee's home and the terminal.
c. When an employee is on the clock and a random alcohol test is taken any time during the employee's shift, and the shift ends after eight (8) hours, the employee is paid time and one-half for all time past the eight (8) hours.
d. The Employer will not require the city employee to go for alcohol testing before the city employee's shift, provided the collection site is open during or immediately following the employee's shift.
e. During an employee's shift, an employee will not be required to use his/her personal vehicle from the terminal to and from the collection site to take a random alcohol test.
f. If a road driver is called to take a random alcohol test at a time when the road driver is not en route to or from work, the driver shall be paid, in addition to all time at the collection site, travel time both ways between the location of the driver when called and the collection site with no minimum guarantee.
