Meets Standard. The school materially complies with applicable laws, rules, regulations and provisions of the charter contract relating to financial reporting requirements, including but not limited to: • Complete and on-time submission of financial reports, including annual budget, revised budgets (if applicable), periodic financial reports as required by the authorizer and any reporting requirements if the board contracts with an Education Service Provider (ESP) • On-time submission and completion of the annual independent audit and corrective action plans, if applicable • No charging of tuition • Adequate management and financial controls • All reporting requirements related to the use of public funds

Either the school has already met the standard based on the financials under review, or previous financial concerns that produced a preliminary Pending rating have been adequately remedied based on more current financial data or addressed adequately based on additional information such that the Commission concludes that performance against the standard indicates sound financial viability.
Meets Standard. The school meets the standard if it satisfies each of the criteria statements described for the indicator OR if the authorizer currently has no evidence or information to indicate the school does not meet the criteria statements. There is evidence to indicate the school does not, or at some point in the school year did not, satisfy the criteria statements described for the indicator AND within 30 days after receiving a notification of non-compliance, the school submitted evidence to demonstrate immediate correction of any outstanding matters AND submitted a corrective action plan to prevent future occurrences of the same concern.
