Micro-credentials. A Teacher who completes a district-approved micro credential will receive a $150 stipend. Stipends will be paid out once each semester with proper documentation. Teachers may not receive more than four stipends during a school year. For informational purposes only, the attainment of micro credentials will be optional except for new teachers participating in SBCSC’s two-year teacher-induction program, who must do only 1 per year.

Micro-credentials. A committee will be formed with representatives from the district and the RAECP to understand and attempt to provide the opportunity to earn micro-credentials to recognize the expertise they develop through high-quality, personalized professional learning that impacts student learning.

Micro-credentials. In addition to attending Pathway Courses, staff can apply their new learning/skills, in their own classroom, to earn micro-credentials  Examples may include: experimenting with a new strategy, constructing/applying a new assessment, creating/implementing a new lesson plan, contributing to online moderated colleague discussions, leading a staff development program, etc.  Evidence of the application of the new learning/skill will be required for compensation. Examples may include at least one of the following: o A one-page reflection on the impact of the new strategy in your classroom o A copy of the new lesson plan and a one-page reflection on its effectiveness o A copy of the new assessment, student results data, and a one-page reflection o A copy of the contributions (postings) to a BPS online forum o A copy of the presentation/teaching materials and staff reflections (for PD leaders)  One micro-credential requires approximately 3 hours of additional work outside the classroom  Specific requirements (rubric) will be developed for each micro-credential offered.

  • Rosters 8.1 As far as practically possible, the Employer will draw up a roster 1 week in advance. Changes to rosters may occur with 24 hours notice or, subject to the availability of the Employee, with less notice if by mutual consent.

  • Protocols Each party hereby agrees that the inclusion of additional protocols may be required to make this Agreement specific. All such protocols shall be negotiated, determined and agreed upon by both parties hereto.

  • Diagnostic procedures to aid the Provider in determining required dental treatment.

  • PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM 5.1 The Employee agrees to participate in the performance management system that the Employer adopts or introduces for the Employer, management and municipal staff of the Employer.
