Miscellaneous Meetings. 22 a. Time spent on required District or building sponsored book studies, book clubs, or other 23 professional development activities scheduled outside of the work day shall be paid at per 24 diem. This time will be pre-approved and paid by applicable building and/or program 25 funding.

Miscellaneous Meetings. 7.14.1 Teachers shall attend five (5) in-service workshops scheduled by the Superintendent. Such workshops shall commence ten (10) minutes after the end of the school day, and will continue for two (2) hours. Two (2) of these workshops will be scheduled for individual school workshops with the agenda to be determined by the faculty of the school. If an in-service workshop falls on a professional activity day, the professional activity will begin following the end of the in-service workshop. Teachers will be required to participate in two (2) professional activity periods per month, each of which shall be fifty (50) minutes in length and each of which shall extend the revised teacher workday by fifty (50) minutes.   • Miscellaneous Rules 1. The provisions of this Convention shall not be construed to restrict in any manner any exemption, allowance, credit or other deduction accorded:

  • Other Miscellaneous Terms The Card and your obligations under this Agreement may not be assigned. We may transfer our rights under this Agreement. Use of the Card is subject to all applicable rules and customs of any clearinghouse or other association involved in transactions. We do not waive our rights by delaying or failing to exercise them at any time. If any provision of this Agreement shall be determined to be invalid or unenforceable under any rule, law, or regulation of any governmental agency, local, state, or federal, the validity or enforceability of any other provision of this Agreement shall not be affected. This Agreement will be governed by the law of the State of Delaware except to the extent governed by federal law.
