Missed Lessons. The Teacher will charge for any scheduled lessons which the Pupil does not attend, unless either i) the Pupil (or the Pupil’s parent or carer) has given the Teacher at least 48 hours’ written notice or ii) the Teacher chooses not to do so because of exceptional circumstances. If the Teacher cancels a scheduled lesson, the Pupil (or the Pupil’s parent or carer) may choose between (i) receiving a replacement lesson or (ii) receiving a refund of the lesson fee.
Missed Lessons. Any lesson missed by the student shall be paid for unless otherwise agreed with the teacher. If the teacher is unavailable to give any scheduled lesson, the lesson will be carried forward to another date. If this is not possible, any fee already paid will be refunded or used to pay for a future lesson.
Missed Lessons. 11.1 Where lessons are missed as a result of any failure by Warwickshire Music (e.g. a teacher's illness), the School shall accept a teacher on an alternative date so that the agreed number of lessons may be made up.
11.2 Although not guaranteed, where requested by the School, it may be possible for the Warwickshire Music teacher to change the time or day to accommodate a school closure or a pre-planned school class event. However, at least 4 weeks written notice shall be given to the Warwickshire Music teacher. If such notice is not given or the requested change cannot be accommodated, the missed lesson will count towards the total lessons to be delivered by Warwickshire Music, and the School shall make payment to Warwickshire Music in full.
11.3 Where lessons are missed as a result of an individual pupil's absence the missed lesson will count towards the total lessons to be delivered by Warwickshire Music, and the School shall make payment to Warwickshire Music in full.
11.4 Where a school has to cancel a lesson as a result of unexpected circumstances (e.g. adverse weather conditions) and has not given the notice required by 11.2, the missed lesson will count towards the total lessons to be delivered by Warwickshire Music, and the School shall make payment to Warwickshire Music in full.
Missed Lessons. No refund is given for missed lessons. If a participant is absent from class for a prolonged period without notifying the centre they may be automatically removed from that class. In the event of long term illness or injury, suspension of direct debit payment may occur upon presentation of a medical certificate or at the Facility Manager’s discretion. Make-up lessons will be provided in the case of wet weather. These lessons can be organised by visiting our proshop to find a suitable time to complete these lessons. Some lessons will be held indoors in the case of rain and will be determined by the facility.
Missed Lessons. 11.1 Where lessons are missed through the fault of Warwickshire Music (e.g. a teacher's illness), the school should be prepared to accept a teacher on an alternative date so that the agreed number of lessons may be made up to the 33 weeks instrumental tuition 36 weeks music therapy, plus 1 week initial assessment and 1 week report writing. 38 weeks class teaching maximum or maximum weeks available per academic year, less Inset.

If the Teacher is obliged to cancel a scheduled lesson, the Pupil (or the Pupil’s parent or guardian) may choose between (i) carrying the lesson forward; (ii) receiving a replacement lesson; or (iii) receiving a refund of the lesson fee.

The Teacher reserves the right, at the Teacher’s discretion, to grant a portion of the remaining lessons booked as part of a ‘Package deal’ in exceptional circumstances. Details of such will be determined by the Teacher.
Missed Lessons. Fees for lessons missed will not be refundable. In certain circumstances or serious illness lessons may be re-arranged at a mutually convenient time for the student and the tutor. If this is offered it will be at the discretion of the school. Lessons missed through absence of the teacher will either be re-arranged or credited. If lessons need to be re-arranged due to commitments it is the student’s responsibility to notify the school. Refunds will not be given but re-arranged lessons may be organised during school holiday time if possible. The school will contact students by email or phone and it is their responsibility to make sure it is checked. Lessons missed due to failure to do so will be considered forfeit. Lessons may be discontinued by the student giving one half-term's notice of the intention to cease lessons. Failure to comply with this may render the student liable to pay the next half-term’s fees. The school reserves the right to terminate lessons with immediate effect if a student becomes physically or verbally abusive towards a tutor.

4. Lessons lost through illness or absence of the teacher will be either re-arranged or credited at the discretion of the teacher.
5. Xxxxxxx missed as a result of the student’s participation in a curriculum related visit or school examination should, where possible, be re—arranged through consultation with the teacher. It is the student’s responsibility to notify the teacher at least two weeks in advance of the need to re-arrange a lesson.
