Absence Due to Sickness. Employees who are absent due to sickness or injury shall be placed on an unpaid leave of absence for any period they are not covered by sick leave credits.
Absence Due to Sickness. If an employee is absent because of sickness and produces a valid doctor’s certificate, the regular hours missed, not exceeding eight (8) hours in any one day, shall be treated as time worked, solely for the purpose of calculating overtime.
Absence Due to Sickness. 5.1. Pay during sick leave will be according to THE COMPANY's Policies and Guidelines in Norway and prevailing Norwegian Law.

Absence Due to Sickness. If the Employee is absent from work due to illness, he/she must on the first day of absence telephone the Employer personally, or send a message to inform his/her superior. Upon return to work a medical certificate signed by the Employee's registered medical practitioner must be handed to his/her Superior.
8.1 The Employee is entitled to one day’s paid sick leave for every 26 days worked during the first 6 months of employment and thereafter entitled to paid sick leave in terms of the applicable Sectoral Determination.

Subject to the Executive being entitled to be paid during any period of absence from work due to a sickness or injury up to a maximum of seven (7) days (except in the case where hospitalisation is necessary, then, up to a maximum of thirty (30) days), the Executive shall not be entitled to be paid during any period during which he has been absent without leave.
Absence Due to Sickness. You must notify your Head of Department (or nominee) when absent due to ill health/injury. You will not be entitled to the University’s occupational sick pay; however, you may be eligible for Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) if you meet the relevant eligibility criteria. A satisfactory Occupational Health Clearance may be required depending upon the type of work you are engaged to perform. It is a condition of any offer of work made by the Bank that you are fit to carry out the duties. The Bank may request evidence of such fitness in order that an offer of work may be made, or for an existing work placement to be continued. Whilst undertaking duties for the University you are expected to achieve and maintain acceptable standards of conduct, attendance and performance applicable to the area in which you are working. You must also comply with such other instructions as you may be given from time to time. During an engagement unacceptable standards of conduct, attendance or performance may result in disciplinary action including temporary suspension and/or termination from a specific assignment.
Absence Due to Sickness. 7.2.1 The Student must notify his/her tutor immediately on the first day of each absence from the Courses or as soon after it is practicable and give the reason for and expected duration of their absence due to sickness.
