Motorcycle Officers. Members who are trained and assigned to the Traffic Unit (a specialty unit) as a Motorcycle Officer shall receive a 5% increase to their base pay.

Motorcycle Officers. 1. Each sworn officer of the Department who is assigned to the motorcycle squad will buy and use the following items:
Motorcycle Officers. An employee assigned as a Motorcycle Officer shall receive an application rate of five (5) percent above his/her regular hourly rate for those hours so assigned.

Motorcycle Officers. It is anticipated that Motorcycle Officers will provide normal maintenance of their assigned motorcycles outside the Officer’s normal work hours. In consideration of this activity, employees working in the assignment of Motorcycle Officer shall receive additional compensation in the form of a five (5) percent premium of their base salary for every hour they actually work as a Motorcycle Officer. In the event a Motorcycle Officer works in that capacity outside his/her normal work hours, the Motorcycle Officer shall be entitled to overtime compensation at a rate that reflects one and one-half times the combined total of five (5) percent plus base salary rate. Prior approval of overtime work by the Motorcycle Officer’s supervisor is required.

Effective the first payroll period after October 1, 2002, should the Department assign an employee as the “Xxxx 11" in the Traffic Unit, such employee shall receive a five percent (5%) increase in his/her base hourly rate of pay for the period of his/her “Xxxx 11" assignment. (Note: The employee assigned as the “Xxxx 11" shall not receive the aforesaid $25.00 per week for the period of his/her “Xxxx 11" assignment but shall revert to the $25.00 per week amount if he/she is removed from the “Xxxx 11" assignment and is reassigned to a regular Motorcycle Officer position in the Traffic Unit.)
