Multi-Campus Units. In the event the Employer decides to expand the use of cross campus assignments to a department where the practice does not currently exist, or where a non- Multi-Campus Unit is using cross campus assignments frequently, the Union will be notified at the earliest opportunity. The Employer will meet with the Union and representatives of staff to address staff concerns and convene a Change Process Team. All applicable contractual practices will be followed. In the event a new multi-campus unit is created, all affected employees shall be assigned a home campus and UB-MCF positions will be created pursuant to the contractual procedures identified by the Change Process Team, potentially including but not limited to 7.1 Recruitment and Selection, and/or Article 10, Reorganization. Data will be collected as part of the post-restructure process to identify how often floating between campuses is occurring and whether FTEs at one campus should be increased to minimize floating. Only employees in multi- campus units are required to float across campuses.

Multi-Campus Units. These articles (7.6 and 7.6.1) shall only apply to the following units that only float between First Hill and Cherry Hill: Cath Lab, Cherry Hill Interventional Radiology; and to these that float to all campuses: Cancer Institute, preadmission, Dialysis, Employee Health. All employees within a multi-campus unit shall have a designated home campus. Each unit will have a designated number of UB-MCF who shall be the first to float when floating is required. The number of UB-MCF and floating trends will be monitored by the unit-based staffing committee. If a nurse is reassigned to perform work on a different campus within their designated region, a premium of three dollars and fifty cents ($3.50) per hour shall be paid for all hours worked at the other campus. Nurses working on a different campus outside of their designated region shall be paid a premium of five dollars ($5.00) per hour for all hours worked at the other campus. If the nurse returns to the original scheduled work site during the shift, this pay premium shall continue to be paid. These premiums shall not be paid to nurses that voluntarily initiate a change in campus (e.g., “trades”) or who are prescheduled to work at a different campus or location in accordance with 7.2. These premiums shall not apply to call shifts worked (12.3). Call shifts outside of an employee’s region will be voluntary.

  • Units Interests in the Partnership shall be represented by Units. The Units initially are comprised of one Class: Class A Units. The General Partner may establish, from time to time in accordance with such procedures as the General Partner shall determine from time to time, other Classes, one or more series of any such Classes, or other Partnership securities with such designations, preferences, rights, powers and duties (which may be senior to existing Classes and series of Units or other Partnership securities), as shall be determined by the General Partner, including (i) the right to share in Profits and Losses or items thereof; (ii) the right to share in Partnership distributions; (iii) the rights upon dissolution and liquidation of the Partnership; (iv) whether, and the terms and conditions upon which, the Partnership may or shall be required to redeem the Units or other Partnership securities (including sinking fund provisions); (v) whether such Unit or other Partnership security is issued with the privilege of conversion or exchange and, if so, the terms and conditions of such conversion or exchange; (vi) the terms and conditions upon which each Unit or other Partnership security will be issued, evidenced by certificates and assigned or transferred; (vii) the method for determining the Total Percentage Interest as to such Units or other Partnership securities; and (viii) the right, if any, of the holder of each such Unit or other Partnership security to vote on Partnership matters, including matters relating to the relative designations, preferences, rights, powers and duties of such Units or other Partnership securities. Except as expressly provided in this Agreement to the contrary, any reference to “Units” shall include the Class A Units and any other Classes that may be established in accordance with this Agreement. All Units of a particular Class shall have identical rights in all respects as all other Units of such Class, except in each case as otherwise specified in this Agreement.

  • Layoff Units A. A layoff unit is defined as the entity or administrative/organizational unit within the Employer used for determining the available options for employees who are being laid off.

  • Nurses Unit The appointment of two (2) full-time employees to the same budgeted regular position may be authorized by the Director of Human Resources to facilitate training, to make assignments to a position which is vacant due to extended authorized leave of absence, or in an emergency. The most recently hired dual appointee shall enjoy all of the benefits of regular employees except regular status, unless the most recently appointed dual appointee has regular status in the classification. The most recently appointed employee shall be notified in writing by the appointing authority and such notification will clearly define the benefits to which that employee is entitled. Upon return of the initial appointee or completion of the training period or emergency, the following procedure shall apply. If the most recently appointed dual appointee has regular status in the same classification, he/she shall be placed in a vacant position in the same classification in the department/group. If no position is available, the employee shall be laid off, pursuant to the layoff provisions of this Agreement; provided, however, that the initial appointee shall be excluded from the order of layoff. If the most recently appointed dual appointee does not have regular status in the classification, he/she may be appointed to a vacant position in the same classification in the department/group, however, he/she shall be required to serve a probationary period unless waived by the Director of Human Resources. If the most recently appointed dual appointee held prior regular status in a lower classification immediately preceding the dual appointment, he/she shall have the right to return to the former classification and department. If he/she has not held prior regular status in a lower level classification, he/she shall be terminated. EDUCATION LEAVE AND TRAINING

  • Bargaining Unit Members hired before July 1, 1995 Those Bargaining Unit Members whose current regular assigned work shift ends after 5:00 p.m. or commences before 7:30 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. and who are currently receiving a shift differential pay of five percent (5%) for time worked after 5:00 p.m. or before 7:30 a.m. shall continue to receive said differential.

When an employee is to be interviewed or questioned concerning a complaint or allegation of misconduct, the employee will be informed of, prior to the interview, the nature of the investigation and whether the employee is the subject of the investigation or a witness in the investigation. If the employee is the subject of investigation, the employee will also be informed of the specifics of each complaint or allegation against him/her.

  • Alternative Interconnection Arrangements 3.1 In addition to the foregoing methods of Interconnection, and subject to mutual agreement of the Parties, the Parties may agree to establish an End Point Fiber Meet arrangement, which may include a SONET backbone with an optical interface at the OC-n level in accordance with the terms of this Section. The Fiber Distribution Frame at the Reconex location shall be designated as the POI for both Parties.
