Mutual Aid and Assistance. Upon the request as provided herein, the Participating Units shall provide mutual aid and assistance to each other. Mutual Aid and Assistance shall include the following: a. Rendering of aid and assistance, including pre-established immediate response by one or more Participating Units to an emergency scene under the control and/or jurisdiction of another Participating Unit, said emergency may include but not to be limited to fire, civil unrest, major criminal or emergency events, natural and man-made disaster or catastrophe affecting the environment. b. Rendering of aid and assistance by one or more Participating Units to another Participating Unit to serve as supplemental reserve protection in the Requesting Unit’s jurisdiction while the Requesting Unit is on an emergency call and/or otherwise currently unable to address the emergency service needs in its jurisdiction. c. Participating in training exercises with other participating units, where the purpose of such training exercises is to coordinate and prepare for fire, civil unrest, major emergency, natural disaster, environmental disaster and/or other emergency situations that are a threat to life or property.

Mutual Aid and Assistance. The Band’s Law Enforcement Agency and the Sheriff’s Office shall provide mutual aid and assistance to each other in accordance with the following provisions. a. When the band’s Chief of Police or other officers in charge of the Band’s Police, or the Sheriff or other officer in charge of the Sheriff’s Office, requests law enforcement assistance from the other, the responding party b. When the responding party supplies law enforcement officers to the requesting party, such officers shall remain under the direction of control of the responding party, be paid by the responding party, be protected by Worker’s Compensation of the responding party, be covered by tort liability policies of the responding party, and otherwise be deemed to be performing regular duties for the responding party, the responding party shall undertake to coordinate with the requesting party the police assistance it provides, provided that: i. The Sheriff or other officer in charge of the Sheriff’s Office shall continue to have the ultimate discretion to control any designated crime scene and officers of the Band’s Police will cooperate and undertake the commands of the Sheriff or other officer in charge of the Sheriff’s Office; and ii. If available and appropriate, investigation of any automobile accident resulting in death or injury shall be undertaken by the Minnesota Highway Patrol. c. A responding party shall be responsible for its own personnel, equipment and supplies and for injuries or death to any such personnel and damage to any such equipment or supplies, except that, when the assistance provided consists of the furnishing of equipment and supplies by the responding party to the requesting party for use by the requesting party’s law enforcement personnel, the requesting party shall be responsible to return such equipment or supplies to the responding party in their original condition or to repair or replace the same , as appropriate, as soon as circumstances permit.

  • Mutual Assistance The Parties will do all things reasonably necessary or appropriate to carry out the terms and provisions of this Agreement and to aid and assist each other in carrying out such terms and provisions.

  • EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND 18.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund the amount identified at Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement, and shall remit such contributions to the Union together with union dues, and in the manner described at Article 7.04. 18.02 The Education and Assistance Fund shall be used by the Union to educate and instruct members in the competent practice of their trade, in matters relating to Health and Safety, and to instruct specific members in effective labour relations practices. 18.03 Having regard to the demands of the Employer’s work and operations, the Employer will cooperate with the Union when safety and related courses are made available to the members employed with the Employer.

  • EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE I understand that the College has not made and will not make any guarantees of employment or salary upon my graduation. The College will provide me with placement assistance, which will consist of identifying employment opportunities and advising me on appropriate means of attempting to realize these opportunities. I authorize HCI College’s representatives to contact potential employers for the purpose of advocating on my behalf and release my name and job application materials, including, but not limited to, my cover letter, resume, and transcript to prospective employers. I authorize HCI College and its third-party vendors to contact my employer to verify pertinent employment information for my graduate record.

  • Employee and Family Assistance Plan The CODC PRO Care Plan is an industry-funded employee and family assistance plan for employees and their eligible family members according to the participation of sponsoring organizations and employers as well as Plan eligibility rules. Employees must be enrolled in the Plan by their employer to become eligible for Plan benefits, subject to the Plan eligibility rules. An individual employee cannot self-enroll in the Plan. i. Employers are required to remit the Contract Administration and Industry Development fees and the monthly CODC Employer Report Form to CODC by the 15th of the month following the month in which the hours were worked. ii. Employers must also submit the monthly Employee Data Report to the PRO Care plan by the 15th of the month following to facilitate the confidential determination of eligibility by the EFAP provider. There are three ways to submit this data:  entering the data directly on the CODC website at xxx.xxxx.xx/xxxxxxx  uploading an excel spreadsheet in the required format to the website (a sample spreadsheet can be downloaded from the website)  Forwarding an excel spreadsheet in the required format electronically to xxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxx. Hard copies of data will not be accepted.

  • Plan of Assistance The Plan of Assistance is designed to be helpful. It is initiated when other means of the assistive process have not been successful and the supervisor determines that the classified employee needs additional assistance and support to maintain or achieve an acceptable level of performance.

  • Termination Assistance Upon nearing the end of the final term or termination of this Agreement, without respect to cause, the Party shall take all reasonable and prudent measures to facilitate any transition required by the State. All State property, tangible and intangible, shall be returned to the State upon demand at no additional cost to the State in a format acceptable to the State.

  • Other Assistance Assist SBEs in their efforts to obtain bonds, lines of credit and insurance. (Note that the Agency has a Surety Bond Program that may assist SBEs in obtaining necessary bonding.) The Agency-Assisted Contractor or Contractor(s) shall require no more stringent bond or insurance standards of SBEs than required of other business enterprises.
