New Employee Notification. A. The Employer shall provide Union contact information to each new Employee during new hire orientation by Human Resources. The Employee is responsible to contact the Union. B. The Employer shall notify the Union of any new Employee hired who is covered by this Agreement not later than fifteen (15) calendar days after the Employee’s start date. C. Stewards shall be allowed to contact a new Employee during work hours upon approval by the supervisor or Department Head and so long as it does not interfere with either employees’ work for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes during the first month of employment. Employees shall suffer no loss in compensation for time spent meeting under this paragraph.
