Night and Weekend Work. County and District recognize that, in order for LACMTA to meet the Construction schedule for the Project, LACMTA and its contractors may need to perform a significant amount of work after business hours, on weekends, and/or by multiple shifts spanning up to 24 hours per day and up to seven days per week. Accordingly, subject to LACMTA’s compliance with its environmental mitigation obligations, County and District hereby consent to all such work deemed necessary by LACMTA.

Accordingly, subject to MTA’s compliance with its environmental mitigation obligations, County and District hereby consent to all such work deemed necessary by MTA.
Night and Weekend Work. No work shall be performed between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m., nor on Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays, except such work as is necessary for the proper care and protection of work already performed, and then only with the prior approval of Director, or except in case of emergency.

  • Weekend Work (a) Overtime work on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half (1.5) for the first two (2) hours and double time thereafter, provided that all overtime worked after 12 noon on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of double time.

  • Work Week and Work Day (a) (Applicable to full-time employees only) The normal or standard work week shall be an average of thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours, with a normal or standard work day of seven and one-half (7½) hours except in those Hospitals where agreements already provide a standard or normal work week of less than thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours per week and seven and one-half (7½) hours per day. (Those Hospitals with the lesser required hours shall reflect in the salary rates a pro-rata lesser amount compared with salaries for other Hospitals based on the ratio that the standard or normal hours of work at the Hospital concerned are to thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours and shall appropriately reflect such hours in this Article). The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.

  • Work Day and Work Week (A) The normal hours of work for all full-time employees shall be thirty-five (35) hours per week, or seventy (70) hours per two consecutive weeks. All employees are entitled to thirty-two (32) consecutive hours free from work each week, unless overtime rates are paid, as per Article 29.02.

  • Workweek and Workday 1. The normal week shall consist of not more than five (5) consecutive days and not more than forty (40) hours per week, Sunday through Saturday. The regular workday shall consist of not more than eight (8) hours per day. Nothing in this Article shall be deemed to restrict the extension of the regular workweek on an overtime basis when such is necessary to carry on the business of the District.

  • Four Day Work Week 28 1. If a holiday falls on an employee's first or second scheduled day 29 off, the preceding work day will be observed as that employee's holiday, or the 30 employee may choose to bank the holiday leave hours.

  • Sunday Work Employees required to work overtime on Sundays shall be paid for a minimum of three hours work at double time. The double time is to be paid until the employee is relieved from duty.

  • Holiday Work If an employee works on a holiday or designated holiday, the employee will be paid at the rate of time and one-half the regular salary rate for all hours worked, in addition to his/her holiday pay. For the purpose of computing additional overtime, only hours actually worked shall be counted.
