NIGHTSHIFT. Between 0001 hours and 0800 hours (night shift), there shall be a minimum of three (3) two-officer patrol units in zones 20 to 80. Those zones referred to as Xxxxxx, Rayside Balfour, Valley East, Nickel Centre and areas south of Xxxxxxx Xxxx Road shall, if policed, be patrolled by two-officer units. Any calls during the nightshift in those zones referred to as Xxxxxx, Rayside Balfour, Valley East, Nickel Centre and areas south of Xxxxxxx Xxxx Road shall be considered two-officer calls and shall be dispatched to a two-officer patrol unit or two single officer units.
NIGHTSHIFT. Any shift that starts between 5pm and 5 am or, where 50% or more of the hours in a shift fall between 5 pm and 5 am will be considered a nightshift. Employees working nightshift are entitled to, at a minimum, 10% increase on their base wage together with any additional customer paid premiums received by the Employer from the customer for the shift worked.
NIGHTSHIFT. It is a term of the award that immediately upon signing of this award the Company will increase Night Shift allowance from 15% on hours worked to 30% of hours worked i.e.: 40 hours worked receive 52 hours pay.
