Patrol Unit. A promoted employee who is dismissed during his probationary period, except if the cause warrants action to dismiss him from the County Service, shall return to the position in which he held permanent status, if vacant, or any other vacant position in his former classification unless all positions in that classification are filled. The employee so dismissed may write a letter for inclusion in his permanent personnel file. Upon a return to his former position in the same agency or department, the employee shall not serve a new probationary period. In the absence of such vacancy in the agency or department in which he held permanent status, the dismissed probationary employee may either:

Patrol Unit. Whenever the patrol officers in the road patrol are operating on twelve (12) hour shifts the City, in its opinion, may schedule the dispatch unit on twelve (12) hour shifts. If the City does not terminate the twelve (12) hour shift program but the patrol unit does, the dispatch union shall have the option to continue on twelve (12) hour shifts or return to eight (8) hour shifts pursuant to paragraph 2.
Patrol Unit. Patrol is the uniformed component of the department. It consists of patrol officers. Personnel are assigned to squads to provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Sergeants coordinate the shifts and each squad or team reports to the Patrol Lieutenant. The primary roles are: 1. Patrol Section: To provide proactive enforcement and innovative methods of protection; to provide the initial response to calls for services that the department receives. Perform a substantial amount of any necessary follow-up investigation which may be required. Provide uniform assistance to other department units, other city departments, and other law enforcement and social agencies as necessary; Police Training Officers: The department has a police-training program for sworn police officers. The Patrol Training Coordinator (PTC) coordinates the program. Individual Police Training Officers report to the on-duty patrol sergeant. Specific information regarding this function is contained in Standard 33.4.3.
Patrol Unit. (a) The Patrol Unit shall maintain eight (8) work shifts with each shift encompassing the following hours and designated in the following manner: Squad A 0800 hours to 1600 hours Squad B 1600 hours to 2400 hours Squad C 2400 hours to 0800 hours Squad D 1900 hours to 0300 hours Early Squad A 0700 hours to 1500 hours Early Squad B 1500 hours to 2300 hours Early Squad C 2300 hours to 0700 hours Patrol Unit Supervisors shall work a half (1/2) hour earlier than the Early Squad hours. (b) Assignment to the Patrol Unit work shifts shall be based on a seniority bid-shift selection system. For the purpose of this Article, seniority is defined as the number of consecutive years of service with the Department. (c) Shifts shall be bid in the following prescribed manner: (1) 60 days prior to the implementation of the bid shifts, shift selection forms shall be distributed to all eligible members. All eligible members shall return the shift selection forms within 30 days; 15 days prior to the implementation of the new shift, details shall be posted accordingly. (2) Eligible members who fail to return their bid selection form within the time frame specified above (30 days) shall be assigned to a shift at the discretion of the Chief or his or her designee. (3) The number of slots available for each work shift shall be determined by the Chief of Police, or his or her designee. (4) Shift assignments shall re-open for bid at the discretion of the Department, but in no event shall bids be opened less than twice (2) per calendar year or more than four (4) times per calendar year.
Patrol Unit. No less than two uniformed units will be deployed on patrol on the first shift (0800-1600) and third shift (0000-0800) and no less than three on the second shift (1600-2400). On day shift from the hours of 0800 to 1600, the Chief and Captains will not be considered a uniform patrol unit. On any other shift, any officer on duty will be considered a uniform unit. The Captain’s hours will be days (0800-1600) -- Monday through Friday (40 hours) with Saturdays, Sundays and all holidays off. Six (6) additional special prosecution days off will be given to the Captains and said days can be carried over from one year to the next for a period of one (1) year. All pay and allowances for the Captains are to be computed at the thirty-seven and a half (37 1/2) hour work week. Special investigations, emergencies or mutual agreement may necessitate that either of the Captain’s hours be changed. In case of special investigations/emergencies, the Captain’s hours shall be changed only for the duration of the special investigation or emergency. The Captains may work Patrol overtime on a voluntary basis. The Captains will not be placed on the patrol or dispatch order back list.

  • Remote Terminal Unit Prior to the Initial Synchronization Date of the Large Generating Facility, a Remote Terminal Unit, or equivalent data collection and transfer equipment acceptable to the Parties, shall be installed by Developer, or by Connecting Transmission Owner at Developer’s expense, to gather accumulated and instantaneous data to be telemetered to the location(s) designated by Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO through use of a dedicated point-to-point data circuit(s) as indicated in Article 8. 1. The communication protocol for the data circuit(s) shall be specified by Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO. Instantaneous bi-directional analog real power and reactive power flow information must be telemetered directly to the location(s) specified by Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO. Each Party will promptly advise the appropriate other Party if it detects or otherwise learns of any metering, telemetry or communications equipment errors or malfunctions that require the attention and/or correction by that other Party. The Party owning such equipment shall correct such error or malfunction as soon as reasonably feasible.

  • Television Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of covered television equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is compliance with Subchapter Z, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Television Equipment Recycling Program.

  • Childcare 8.1. One third credit shall be given where a teacher resigns or takes leave from the New Zealand teaching service in order to care for her/his own children provided that the teacher was a certificated teacher (or equivalent) at the time of resigning or taking leave, otherwise no credit will be given.

  • One-Way Interconnection Trunks 2.3.1 Where the Parties use One-Way Interconnection Trunks for the delivery of traffic from Onvoy to Frontier, Onvoy, at Xxxxx’s own expense, shall: 2.3.1.1 provide its own facilities for delivery of the traffic to the technically feasible Point(s) of Interconnection on Frontier’s network in a LATA; and/or 2.3.1.2 obtain transport for delivery of the traffic to the technically feasible Point(s) of Interconnection on Frontier’s network in a LATA (a) from a third party, or, (b) if Frontier offers such transport pursuant to a Frontier access Tariff, from Frontier. 2.3.2 For each Tandem or End Office One-Way Interconnection Trunk group for delivery of traffic from Onvoy to Frontier with a utilization level of less than sixty percent (60%) for final trunk groups and eighty-five percent (85%) for high usage trunk groups, unless the Parties agree otherwise, Onvoy will promptly submit ASRs to disconnect a sufficient number of Interconnection Trunks to attain a utilization level of approximately sixty percent (60%) for all final trunk groups and eighty-five percent (85%) for all high usage trunk groups. In the event Onvoy fails to submit an ASR to disconnect One-Way Interconnection Trunks as required by this Section, Frontier may disconnect the excess Interconnection Trunks or bill (and Onvoy shall pay) for the excess Interconnection Trunks at the rates set forth in the Pricing Attachment. 2.3.3 Where the Parties use One-Way Interconnection Trunks for the delivery of traffic from Frontier to Onvoy, Frontier, at Frontier’s own expense, shall provide its own facilities for delivery of the traffic to the technically feasible Point(s) of Interconnection on Frontier’s network in a LATA.

  • Two-Way Interconnection Trunks 2.4.1 Where the Parties have agreed to use Two-Way Interconnection Trunks for the exchange of traffic between Verizon and PCS, PCS shall order from Verizon, and Verizon shall provide, the Two-Way Interconnection Trunks and the Entrance Facility, on which such Trunks will ride, and transport and multiplexing, in accordance with the rates, terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement and Verizon’s applicable Tariffs. 2.4.2 Prior to ordering any Two-Way Interconnection Trunks from Verizon, PCS shall meet with Verizon to conduct a joint planning meeting (“Joint Planning Meeting”). At that Joint Planning Meeting, each Party shall provide to the other Party originating Centium Call Second (Hundred Call Second) information, and the Parties shall mutually agree on the appropriate initial number of Two-Way End Office and Tandem Interconnection Trunks and the interface specifications at the Point of Interconnection (POI). Where the Parties have agreed to convert existing One-Way Interconnection Trunks to Two-Way Interconnection Trunks, at the Joint Planning Meeting, the Parties shall also mutually agree on the conversion process and project intervals for conversion of such One-Way Interconnection Trunks to Two-Way Interconnection Trunks. 2.4.3 Two-Way Interconnection Trunks shall be from a Verizon End Office or Tandem to a mutually agreed upon POI. 2.4.4 On a semi-annual basis, PCS shall submit a good faith forecast to Verizon of the number of End Office and Tandem Two-Way Interconnection Trunks that PCS anticipates Verizon will need to provide during the ensuing two (2) year period to carry traffic from PCS to Verizon and from Verizon to PCS. PCS’s trunk forecasts shall conform to the Verizon CLEC trunk forecasting guidelines as in effect at that time. 2.4.5 The Parties shall meet (telephonically or in person) from time to time, as needed, to review data on End Office and Tandem Two-Way Interconnection Trunks to determine the need for new trunk groups and to plan any necessary changes in the number of Two-Way Interconnection Trunks. 2.4.6 Two-Way Interconnection Trunks shall have SS7 Common Channel Signaling. The Parties agree to utilize B8ZS and Extended Super Frame (ESF) DS1 facilities, where available. 2.4.7 With respect to End Office Two-Way Interconnection Trunks, both Parties shall use an economic Centium Call Second (Hundred Call Second) equal to five (5). 2.4.8 Two-Way Interconnection Trunk groups that connect to a Verizon access Tandem shall be engineered using a design blocking objective of Xxxx-Xxxxxxxxx B.005 during the average time consistent busy hour. Two-Way Interconnection Trunk groups that connect to a Verizon local Tandem shall be engineered using a design blocking objective of Xxxx-Xxxxxxxxx B.01 during the average time consistent busy hour. Verizon and PCS shall engineer Two-Way Interconnection Trunks using BOC Notes on the LEC Networks SR-TSV-002275. 2.4.9 The performance standard for final Two-Way Interconnection Trunk groups shall be that no such Interconnection Trunk group will exceed its design blocking objective (B.005 or B.01, as applicable) for three
