NO STRIKES OR LOCKOUTS. 4.01 In view of the orderly procedure established by this Agreement for the settling of disputes and the handling of grievances, the Union agrees that during the term of this Agreement, or while negotiations for a renewal or further agreement are being held, neither the Union, its members or any employee shall take part in or cause or encourage any strike, picketing, slowdown or any stoppage or suspension of, or interference with work, or production, which shall in any way affect the operations of the Employer, nor shall there be any sympathy strikes, or secondary strikes and boycotts. 4.02 The Employer agrees that during the term of this Agreement, or while negotiations for a renewal agreement are being held, the Employer will not engage in any lockout of its employees or deliberately restrict or reduce the hours of work or deliberately send employees home when this is not warranted by the workload.
